  1. EGT?
  2. Love it.
  3. http://www.simprojects.nl/ms_siderwinder_ff2_hack.htm Looks doable.
  4. Nothing on the market currently. You can get a used G940 and get plenty of buttons or you can get a FFB2 and mod it.
  5. Is anybody filthy rich here? Or just really dedicated to getting high-end stuff? Because here's a 65" 4K OLED that's actually semi-affordable: http://www.avsforum.com/forum/40-flat-panels-general-oled-technology/1529751-lg-65ec9700-65-oled-owner-s-thread.html Should be available in limited quantities in September (like there are people lining up to pay $10k :P). Let us know if you get one of these. Oh, and post some pictures will ya?
  6. OK, here's the post, if you haven't found it yet: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2050787&postcount=54
  7. They could probably get it done in an afternoon if they had to, but with these things it's how much time they are not spending doing other stuff that matters. There was a developer that helped out in the Bugs and Problems G940 FFB thread; you could bring it to his attention.
  8. +2 the G940 is a necessity for helicopters. MS FFB2 also fits the bill.
  9. I'm guessing you've played around with the stick shaker setting. I don't know if Belsimtek is ever going to implement this. In the meantime, you could use a Buttkicker/transducer to give you better feel for the aircraft, or even a good subwoofer is strong enough to do this.
  10. Probably the difference between perception and reality. One man's smooth framerate is another's choppy mess, or it can even be his own depending on his "state". I know that after playing at >120 fps for a while (not in DCS, mind you), a drop to 100 can seem as choppy as 30 fps. Similarly playing at a steady 30 fps seems very smooth after a while.
  11. Hempstead, any chance you're going to integrate any motor control stuff?
  12. G940 trimmer was fixed. Now the stick goes limp when it should e.g. when you turn off force trim in the Huey.
  13. Elite: Dangerous has been lauded as well.
  14. Well, if it "works" for you. :P
  15. Look in your axis tune settings for the Huey. Try changing it to slider if it isn't already, or turn off slider if it is. Make sure you don't have any extra axis binds that could be interfering with it.
  16. Bike crank, right. That's what I was talking about . I thought it looked familiar. :P
  17. Thank you! Did you make the vertical part of the pedal yourself or is it something off the shelf?
  18. Beautiful, man. Do you have a build log of your antitorque pedals and cyclic?
  19. Doesn't work with any of the Seiki's because they're limited by their own hardware to 30hz at 4K. Any of the name-brand 4K TV's should work however.
  20. Jay, make sure to set your DK2 to 75hz and that you have over 75 fps in-game.
  21. Titans are for work, not play. For $1500 you could do a lot better with Tri-780 SLi.
  22. I'm all for ED making as much money as possible. Without their work the combat sim landscape would be a barren wasteland.
  23. I wouldn't say it's the way it's supposed to work, but it is the difference between a first- and third-person view that each have their own intended purpose. Like SkateZilla said, you can zoom in and out to your liking with RCTRL+numpad / and *
  24. Try experimenting with toggle, duration and pause, as DCS may not prefer such inputs to be simultaneous.
  25. I have to agree with everybody, with HOTAS there is a learning curve, but once you learn it, it is well worth the time and effort. If you need to disable your joystick when you're not using it, however, you can go into the device manager and do so there. Also look here for ideas of what functions to bind: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=269650&postcount=5
