Yeah, I realize now that was a dumb question. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk -

Will this be compatible with a Cougar stick or would I need a Winwing stick too? Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk -

That looks flippin legit. -
Dumped the profile and it's still working!!!!!!!!! Here's my settings currently and in working state.
-
Holy crap - whatever I did seemed to work! DCS sees the axis now and I can use it! I loaded Rudel's profile in CCP again, I enabled emulation, and now DCS sees it! Going to dump the profile and see if it still works or if the profile did it.
-
Still not working. Could the issue be the USB port I'm plugging my Cougar into?
-
Done some more searching and I still haven't been able to get DCS to see the microstick so I can use it. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk

Any other ideas folks? Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk

No, DCS still isn't recognizing it. Ministick appears to be working just fine, I get values when I calibrate in CCP, I just can't seem to get DCS to see it so I can assign it. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk

I've since uninstalled and reinstalled the Cougar drivers, so Rudel's profile is no longer loaded on the stick. It's back to default.
-
@Rudel_chw So I've read through about 15 threads about the ministick issues with DCS and apparently I'm not smart enough to figure this out. The ministick is axis 6&7. I go into DCS and the axis don't even exist as something I can select. I've downloaded Rudel's profile to the Cougar, hence why emulation button is on. Still not a selectable axis. When I calibrate, the axis values change when I move the ministick, so it's apparently functioning well. Button press works just fine too. So... What am I missing here folks? Just have the Cougar TQS plugged into the stick and the stick into the computer via USB.

Great if it's nice and all, but something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg would be great too.
-
And what makes them better?
-
So I would need to use the TUSBA. Ok - good to know since that'd add another $80e. lol Yeah - 450e is $522 USD. That's... Wow. Woof. Just checked their other stuff - $6ke for like as close to a licensed replica as you can get. Wow. That better be some insane stuff!
-
I like that I can use my Cougar stick with it. But man it's expensive. Is it really worth that kind d of cash? How could I use it with my Cougar throttle? Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk

Yup - been reported. -

Just treated myself to the Syria map and I was hoping you folks could point me in the right direction for some good IAF skins for this plane.

Sounds like it won't be coming anytime soon. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk -
Bases compatible with Cougar stick
CybrSlydr replied to CybrSlydr's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I didn't see an adapter listed on VKB's NA site for the Gunfighter. -
I think my Cougar base is going bad. It's spiking and restarting via Cougar Control Panel/calibrating isn't doing it quite. Aside from Virpil, what bases out there are compatible with the Cougar stick? Warthog Mag Base, what else?
-
My personal opinion is around Christmas.

Nice to see lots of love for the module. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk

I was hoping you folks could point me in the right direction! I don't want to build a simpit, but I want something that I can buy that will perform for flight sims, racing sims, and as a regular desktop computer. I don't want to spend a fortune, but something that's comfortable and rock solid is what I'm looking for. Something with a keyboard tray and mouse tray, somewhere to mount my Thrustmaster Cougar, and eventually a wheel and pedals. I have a single 32" monitor. Thanks folks! EDIT: I've been looking at this one - https://nextlevelracing.com/products/gttrack-flight-simulator/
