very interesting read ! I bought a 1080Ti knowing I was going to use the evga upgrade option, but they would ONLY sell Me a 2282 RTX 2080Ti Black edition. I never play on steam, so I have 2 questions, What will a third sensor with a rift CV1 do for Me in DCS ??? When will they update DCS to Direct X 12 ? 5 year old 4 gig 680 SLI cards have 8 gigs of video ram in dx12.

I am happy to report that a simple deleting of either Options.lua or renaming the Optionsluabackup did the trick. DCS is working once again.

Wow, its been 5 years I have been enjoying DCS World !!!

I have the latest drivers but I wonder if a win 10 upgrade caused this ? I tried removing all of the deferred area and did a repair and no good. I hope this can be fixed easily and not have to reinstall everything as at one meg per second, it takes days to DL everything. Thanks for any help with this Mike

No luck using wags video to get 84D on target. Guess I will have to wait for Grim Reapers or Redkite to make a vid that will explain a little more. Wags makes it look so easy. I am heading 355 and HSI says 110 or something and the agm goes right by the target. I dont have much luck with jets weapons.

I followed the youtube video that Wags made and the only thing I cant get to happen is the right MFD to go left right up and down. I can get the diamond. hitting cage uncage does not give me boresight, not sure where the cam is pointing. I saw this: TDC NIPPLE: SLEW - Slews TGP reticle. ( I guess this is what I need?) PRESS - Designate as target. (Adds GPS data to JDAM / slaves MAV seeker to target.) I cant bomb fer beans using ccip dive at 20 degrees and My bomb will normally hit before the target. need to update version to get the Tpod This is wild, all three of my versions are 33184 and using updater it says its up to date. the updater does mention the latest version is 34108 so something is very wrong. I will delete and download updater once more and try that, as downloading the entire new beta on DCS web is 1 meg per second and takes 12 hours. I have standard and beta and another beta backup. ( cant be too careful ) Now I know I need ver 34108 and that is being downloaded right now. The problem is that I dont have the AN/AAQ-28(V) LITENING available to install on #5 Centerline pylon. That is why I cant get the LTDR switch to arm, centerline 5 can only have gas and bombs. And Thank You all for trying to help. Ive downloaded the latest updates and nvidia drivers and the litening Pod is just not available.

I am hoping that someone here can help me as I did a search for LTDR switch on F18 wont ARM. I watched the new Wags video and tried to do everything He did, but the LTDR switch will only do Center (off) and AFT. And the reason that I cant turn it on is because it is not loaded nor available for station 5 on the F18. I have the latest version of everything and do not understand why the ligtning pod is not available ? Not sure what I am doing wrong Thanks for any help. Mike

I like to fly through the Shipping Container Cranes in PG, and its not easy.... so when I am able to make it all the way through and I save the track, I don't understand why when I do a replay, the Anton crashes into the very first crane and the original save was all the way through ???? Very strange... Clear Skies

landing Dora or Anton impossible for Me Taking off in a Dora or Anton is easy once You know back right stick and right pedal on takeoff, and center stick and up you go and do it slow. Landing however, is very unforgiving. P51 I bounce now, but was better in the past, and could take off and land a few times each up and down the runway. Spitfire I don't use because of takeoff issues, and the 109 is nice, but the Dora FW-190 has been My absolute favorite mod sense buying the Hawk. A-8 sure is slow compared to the Mustang. boom and zoom via dogfight Landing the Dora or Anton, I don't crash and burn, I live but the prop is usually busted from a large bounce and running out of energy. Practice is suppose to make You better, and I've been practicing for 4 years now.

I am using the latest Nvidia Drivers and the only plane that has missing textures is the P-51. I have a 2080Ti 2282 Black Edition and it also did it with the old 1080Ti as well. I reinstalled drivers and nojoy, so is there a texture for the mirror and seat headrest that I could somehow get and install to fix this problem ? Thank You for Your Help Mike

I have a ticket that has gone unanswered for many days and so I made a new one and they combined the two tickets but have not answered me back. I purchased one of the last made 1080Ti's from EVGA knowing that I would use their upgrade program to get a 2080Ti. Nice difference but the money was a bit much. I look forward to water cooling it. EVGA was suppose to send Me a few games like BF5 but they never did. I know they were selling My old 1080Ti for 1400 on ebay.

2.5.5 error and cant get Open beta to work 2016, and this is happening to me in June 2019. Version 2.5.5 and they did come out with a small update. Release Version works fine but not the update. I have used a brand new 500 gig hd and installed open beta and I get the same error. I have tried torrent and HTTP and nothing helps and I just bought the Dora A8 and can only use it in the Open Beta. I have a ticket with ED and they want Me to send logs, which I did.

My open beta says up to date, so no 2.5.5 for Me!

My Pc is not updating either, I thought perhaps 2.5.5 was released to only iTunes to try out.

Can someone please help Me. Ive printed out the manual and Jester non iceman is a page and a half. Ive watched many youtube videos. I cannot get Jester to do anything after I hit the "A" key once or twice for different menus. My mouse can swing the line around but nothing I press does anything. Manual says Cntrl and 1-8 keys. That does nothing. I would like to shoot the aim 54 at 6 bombers 40 miles away. I need info from jester and am not getting much. It would be nice if there was a training .miz or .trk with audio explaining things. One more small issue. No matter what I try now, I cant get into another plane with right ALT + J any longer. I like being able to jump into another jet before I have to parachute out. This has not worked for me for awhile now, was the option deleted in a recent update ? Thanks for some help as I have tried everything and am stuck and need some info. Thought I tried left cntl as well as right. I was able to find the info I needed right in the Flight Sims menu about Jester. My apologies for not finding out sooner on my Own. Now to go back and watch the YouTube videos !!! I do still need to know about what is going on with jumping into another aircraft that Right Alt + J used to do. ( found out in a old Mustang manual that rt win J now works !)
