I much more preferred the old layout - it was way easier to navigate.
Here everything is all over the place .. Tapatalk on my mobile phone also seems to not work any longer -.-
My favorites are the Huey and the Mi-8
The Huey is a bit more nimble and you can throw it around quite a bit while the Mi-8 is a bit more sedate but powerful and you can still do some very good maneuvering.

Did you switch to the according timeframe in the editor?
There is a watch icon at the bottom where you can switch between WWII and modern (default) planes

I´ve just played mission 5 and 2 minor issues came to my attention.
In the mission description - shouldn´t it say England / Great Britain instead of France?
And during the crossing of the channel when we are supposed to keep radio silence - Uzi 4 is calling in Indians.
He identifies with "Uzi Fier" - 4 should be written with V (Vier).
One question though - do I need to tell my wingman to attack?
Because when we were flying home I saw that he didn´t drop his bomb.
Flaps not fully lowered on take off
And although the flaps are only lowered a little it still takes him several seconds to retract them.
Besides that - flaps and stabilizer wheels are big so they can be turned easier. But it takes a lot of revolutions - which makes for a lot of small movements of the hand because you can´t keep on turning because you need to move your hand before you can turn the wheel any further.
Therefore a lot of small and fast movements of the hand / arm without much going on on the wheel.
If you mean the movement in the right hand turn before the landing then my guess is that he is lowering the flaps - and if you watch the time it takes him around 20sec.
In the sim it also takes ~20sec. to fully lower the flaps.
And the stabilizer in the sim takes ~10sec from full forward to full aft.
Seems reasonable to me if you take into consideration the gear ratios.
Welchen IPD hast du denn?
Bei der Rift S ist dieser ja nur softwareseitig zu verstellen.
Denke, das könnte das Problem sein.

It is hard to tell from your picture.
Have you tried using the option "Swap Axis" on pitch and roll in the normal control options?
No problems on my side - using a MS Sidewinder FFB2
