Since the ground behavior of the 109 was changed it isn´t that hard anymore without tailwheel lock. Land / TO with unlocked wheel isn´t much of a problem.

So, hab jetzt die Rift S geordert - bin schon gespannt. Werde dann einfach mal testen, ob mein Headset vlt. drüber passt und sonst alternativ noch was ordern.

Ist hier jemand, der die Rift S nutzt? Bin am Überlegen, mir eine zu holen - nur hab ich heut wieder was gelesen, wonach die unvorteilhaft sein soll, wenn man ein Headset damit nutzen will wegen dem Headband. Und auch der integrierte Sound soll nicht so gut sein, wenn man dann halt ein Tischmikro nutzen würde.

Sorry if the question was already asked but as this topic has quite a few pages I might have missed something even using search function. I´m thinking about getting a Rift S but I am not sure about the sound. How is the quality of the implemented speakers? Would it be possible to comfortable wear a headset for communication while using the Rift S?

Is the module coming with a campaign or any other SP missions? Thinking about buying it as it is on sale but I´m not sure what can be done with it in the actual state (in MP I fear it has not a real chance).

Bin die F-14 zwar noch nicht so viel geflogen, aber ich flieg die im Prinzip, wie die WWII Module und das funktioniert so weit ganz gut bisher. Weiß nicht, ob du Erfahrung hast damit oder ob du bisher nur Jets geflogen bist. Jabbers Video ist da ganz gut für die Tomcat :thumbup:

So, habe es eben nochmal getestet und hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Habe aber wissentlich nichts anders gemacht, als zuvor - entweder hab ich aus Versehen doch was versemmelt vorher oder es war ein Bug.

Weiß jemand, woran es liegen kann, dass mir keine STPs im HUD angezeigt werden? Mache gerade den Crashkurs von Rakuzard durch, aber bei der Navigation hat das nicht so ganz geklappt. Just ordered the RTX2070 - thanks for your input guys!

I am also running Windows 10 Having a few hickups with FFB though in DCS since the beginning. Sometimes it just doesn´t work - but I can´t name a specific module as it appears randomly from time to time for me. Most of the time it works fine though.

Just checked with MSFFB2 and open beta - no problems on my side.

@Der Hirte I´d like to stick to nVidia - I am also using tools like Maya etc. and my experiences with these tools is better with nVidia than AMD. @DutchCoolHand I think if I am going to get a VR set it would probably be a Rift. @Uxi Are you sure that there was no difference in 2D? Sounds a bit strange. I´ve toned down several options and even disabled vsync to get decent / constant fps which, even with these settings aren´t always stable and drop down quite a bit depending on the situation.

@Fusedspine33 I´ve already looked for a used 1080Ti but it is hard to find one for a decent price. And so far all which were offered for a decent price came without warranty - overall I´m a bit conservative with buying used computer parts and normally prefer new stuff that comes with warranty. @LeCuvier Yes, performance is a bit lacking with my 970 these days.

Hey there fellow flight simmers :joystick: I´m thinking about upgrading my graphics card. At the moment I´m running an i6700k with a GTX970 and was thinking about getting a RTX2070. More specifically a Gainward RTX2070S 8GB Super Phantom - my previous cards all were Gainward Phantoms and I was quite satisfied with them. Not sure if I will move on to VR some day but let´s say I would - would this card suffice (I am still on 1920x1080)? And what are your overal thoughts on this card or a similiar?
