  1. Will do. L.E. I flew the mission twice, first time for ~30 mins and all went good (RPMs between 2500-3200), the second time I flew it until the forward tank was almost empty (after ~50 mins) then the engine died.
  2. All Axis planes have now weird glass reflections..
  3. The are different teams modern vs WWII as far as I know..
  4. What about collision damage? I noticed that the Spitfire can put up some acrobatics when it smacks into the ground and nothing happens to it.. whereas the 109 explodes when it touches a tree leaf.. I think the collision damage is as important as the damage model and should be also tackled by ED.
  5. There is no comparison between the two of them. They had different purposes, in real life, with Dora being net superior in terms of performance than Anton, the latter being a bit more resilient due to the air cooled engine, but lacking the performance (very slow acceleration), at least in DCS. I would say, go for Dora, you won't regret it. BUT.. I don't know if the engine issue has been fixed yet, though..
  6. The rods and pulleys were very much improved form G to K models. The problem is with the extrapolations used by ED, which do introduce errors in calculation, statistically speaking, and also not taking into consideration these improvements. These stick forces @ low speeds are quite exaggerated. Pilot stamina should or must be introduced, especially for WWII drivers, definitely.
  7. You weren't operating the engine according to the safe limits specified in the manual. You should've had your radiators fully opened in MANUAL position, instead you had them both on AUTO. Your MP was higher than is should've been @ 2700 RPM or lower as you put wear and heat on the pistons. Simple as that.. The P-51 manual says to check your temps every 30 seconds..
  8. Then you don't understand what push-pull rods and cable-pulley systems work. The fact that, in DCS, the stick forces on the K-4 are so high at low speeds contradicts the physics itself. In DCS you have to use a LOT of elevator trimming in order to be able to have any elevator authority even at speeds as low as 350km/h IAS. In all the literature that refers to the 109's 'high stick forces', the pilots that flew it in real life, they all say that those forces become an issue after 700 km/h IAS. And there's a good reason for that.. at those Mach numbers, the air becomes a wall, for all aircrafts, not only for the 109.
  9. Maybe ED could explain what are the variables taken into account and how they calculate the damage for each plane..
  10. The current damage it's quite spot on. With .50 cal you really have to fire at the convergence distance to be effective. The cannons are really effective on both sides, with 30mm and the 13mm just a bit 'underpowered'. Overall, the new DM is quite satisfactory.
  11. AI can be very easily tricked.. I can make it kiss the ground if I want to.. Against human it's a different story though, but practice make perfection. So all you have to do is.. practice and get better at it. S!
  12. AI can be tricked in many ways.. e.g.: https://youtu.be/URLNOdK06BI
  13. It's a plane with a 'weird' behavior.. for 1944 technological level.
  14. Here's how it should look against that puppy, freshly made: https://youtu.be/Or-BI51RH28
  15. After 10 minutes.. the engine seized in cruising @2700rpm.. https://we.tl/t-ylrwIUwIzi (track is uploaded on wetransfer.com 33MB)
  16. Those are two different topics on their own..
  17. I don't think that the 14 cylinder 41.8L engine is too over stressed @ 1.4 ATA and 2700 rpm..
  18. The 'preferred' server has the missions heavily biased towards the Allies.. that's the ONLY reason it's so populated..
  19. Dora guns still jamming.. track attachedserver-20210317-220047.trk.
