This is partially correct. What is not said here is that the PT mode requires several a/c (HTS) to work in network following specific geometries/trajectories and needs a fair amount of time in tactical environment to get +/- accurate coordinates. That makes the PT mode highly confidential. I would be ED (considering the past story with one of their collaborator) I would not go that way. What is to understand here, is that OP request is not something any HTS can pprovidein standalone. And even if the PT mode can provide coordinates, it can hardly provide coordinates precise enought to pinpoint with GPS smart weapon. Considering an average precision of several tens of meters, one can expect a lot of miss.

How the F16 force induction curve simulates reality?
Dee-Jay replied to CZQS's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
If DCS is correctly simulating the FLCS by including the building curves, you should keep your stick's curves linear. -
Fuel Load critical for safe landing in DCS F-16

100%. I was only pointing this to avoid false assumption to other guys who do not make the difference between a/c limitations and perfo calculations. -
Fuel Load critical for safe landing in DCS F-16
Dee-Jay replied to ruddy122's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
Hi! TORA on departure is not necessarily equal to ASDA on recovery. So even if has no MLW, you can not always land at the same weight than at takeoff. Everything depends on landing/braking performances at the considered weight on a given rrunway Regards. -
DCS F-16 is supercruise capable.

Okay, so nope, this is not the bump.

Bump Switch = > triggers the decoy program 6 (or 5 I do not remember exactly).

can not reproduce Severe Flight Modeling Glitch. Post Stall behaviour.
Dee-Jay replied to twistking's topic in Bugs and Problems
MPO do only allow elevons full down authority. No cheat in dough fight possible (unless intention is to depart in a negative AoA loss of control ;)). -
I just gave a try. No changes in landing gains. Both pitch and roll gains are still wrong. On ground (> 110Kts) I can't maintain nose up without a fair stick deflection backward (no AOA blending).

Repro case (actually, VERY easy): - Caucasus - Instant Action - TakeOff - FOB 12000lbs Set BINGO 11000lbs - Takeoff, keep AB on. - When actual total remaining fuel goes below BINGO => no WARN (note that during my test, BINGO became effective below 5000-4500lbs ... ) Track : https://www.dropbox.com/s/6kk0ghif9qfkl0p/F-16 BINGO.rar?dl=0 Video :

So we are all on the same line. And I do confirm that in some conditions, the Bingo warning does not occurs while you have less fuel than the selected Bingo value. But it could be a matter of Warn Reset. To be confirmed, it may only happens if/when Warn Reset has been activated once and Bingo value has not been also reset to a lower value than the actual one. It seem to be "sucked" on a non detection state. (Sorry, hard to explain). Will try to find a solid repro case if/when time permit.

@=Panther= Yep you're right, for some reasons, I've confused the "fuselage" and "internal" in your post (despite the fact that I've quoted it!) while I wasn't confused in my reply. Sorry about that. So we are on the same line. However ... With the FUEL QTY SEL switch in NORM, the bingo computation is based on the lesser of fuselage fuel weight or total fuel weight. That is, with the FUEL QTY SEL switch in NORM, bingo fuel warning will be triggered when either fuselage fuel or total fuel decreases below the bingo fuel value. For you, what is "total fuel "? Is it Internal (Fuselage + Rsvr + Wing) or is it Internal (Fuselage + Rsvr + Wing) + Externals ... ? In other words ... Does the bingo warning triggering with a value set above 6000lbs? I.e. Considering the following initial configuration: - Knob on NORM position. - Actual total fuel remaining = 8000lbs. - BINGO set at 9000lbs. ... Is the alarm triggers in that situation?
-
Incorrect. Wings are part of the internal QTY. (Total Internal = FWD & AFT Fuselage + Rsrv + Left & Right Wings) - Total max internal is about : 6800lbs +/-300lbs (Internal Fuselage + Rsvr + Internal Wings considering JP-4) - Total max external is about : 6400lbs +/-300lbs (Ext Center-line + 370Gal Ext Wing Tanks considering JP-4) - Total max external is about : 9300lbs +/-300lbs (Ext Center-line + 600Gal Ext Wing Tanks considering JP-4)

Not "correct as is" Geraki is right: "BINGO WARNING" is wrong. Here is the Track file : https://www.dropbox.com/s/s182x93e821njq4/F-16 BINGO.rar?dl=0

Matter of point of view. Personally, I perfectly knew what I was buying and wasn't expecting something really accurate ... My reasons are different than many ppl here. Do I regret: No. Do I enjoy it: No. Maybe someday it will reach a descent level of accuracy (will have to be really patient). On the other hands, the cockpit 3D model is awesome and almost perfect. Unfortunately, it is not enough to make it an F-16.

Hi! Additionally, I've seen nowhere in -1 that EXT WING and/or EXT CTR fuel QTY are not sensed (But it doesn't means that it is necessarily the case. It could also be the totalizer minus FF x time like on M2000 or Jaguar IIRC. However, in that case, pilot and/or ground crew should be able to manually initialize the totalizer taking in account the EXT tank fuel level ... and nothing can be found about it neither). Regards.

Wheels still blocks at low speed, but at higher speed it sounds better. Even with if not perfect, I think it will enhance brake efficiency and reduce the FLD.

I noticed after that post was from Noctrach ... but I am referring to your quote also. ... (Post edited accordingly) Have a nice day gents!

Hi Noctrach & Spacemokey! Be careful, I been prosecuted and punished by moderation (and they were right as it is per rules) for having displayed on the forum a VERY common hydraulic scheme that we can find in a matter of a second on the Web ... so, a capture coming directly form the T.O. GR1F-16CJ-1-1 ... mmm ... I do not think it will be accepted (or ... I would not understand). Kind regards.

If I have two bags, I would attempt a belly landing on the inerted wing tanks. Otherwise, I would eject.

No. The TOD is only to sync all the "player's" HQII cryptos. It can be done by an AWACS, by GPS, or manually (tone on UHF to sync all radios of all players). The F-16 has an internal clock (drifting slowly as any clock) that can be set manually on the "hack" time. The system clock is permanently synchronized on GPS Time clock when GPS are available.

F-14. "F-16" is not yet an F-16 ... too much unfinished and almost nothing works as it really should. Remember, F-16 is in early access ... even not in a Beta status yet.
