  1. Very nice!
  2. Alright, thank you for the reply. Would be great if it was possible.
  3. I don‘t think the switches produce any sound at all at the moment. It‘s not on the known issue list either.
  4. Congratulations guys! Looking forward to buying it in the next couple of days!
  5. Thank you so much for the guide, Chuck.
  6. What in the world? Why does kaoqumba write like he is on Dekas team and has first hand info causing this controversy in the first place? Anyways, I‘m glad to read this has been debunked quickly.
  7. It really is a shame. I wouldn’t bet on a missile rework for the next few years.
  8. No worries, DCS is an arcade game anyways. No matter what other people say.
  9. I have a question regarding the sounds of this module. The engine sounds are great from what I have heard so far, internally and externally, which is arguably the most important part. However, in the real JF-17, especially during startup, does one not hear anything at all from inverters, cooling fans or the ECS etc.? Are all these things completely silent? I'd imagine that you hear some humming from the electronics at least, like in EDs F/A-18C for example, or the A-10, or the Mi-8, the Huey etc. In Jabbers Video, everything is silent until the engine start, you can't even hear any clicks from the switches. Perhaps his sound levels were too low for the purpose of the video but in the case that they weren't, are the sounds final or will we see additional sounds and improvements after release?
  10. Regarding the sounds, I asked on the A-10 forum if I could turn down the switch sounds on the F-14 and other 3rd party aircraft as well, now that we have an extra switches sound slider. btd from the ED team answered: "By default - No. They will have to make minor edits." Unfortunately, I cannot try it out for a couple of weeks as I am away from my PC for that time, so I just kindly want to ask, are these minor edits planned at the moment?
  11. Vehicle damage modeling is very simplistic at the moment, so it‘s hard to make a comparison to real life.
  12. Flight model looks very well made from what I have seen so far. Deka has a few videos about their fly by wire simulation etc. on their youtube channel if you want to take a look.
  13. The mode used in the screenshots was indeed GMTI.
  14. Actually makes a lot of sense. The chirping sound effect was a perfectly satisfying answer to me.
  15. That's what I thought. Little disappointing that you're not going with the original TTS voice but maybe someone can mod it. Given that nobody knows how the real voice sounds except you guys, as you've been to the simulator, I doubt it though.
  16. I noticed in the stream that the voice callouts sound different compared to the latest Youtube video on Dekas channel. Maybe I'm wrong but in the stream the callout sounds very similar to the woman's voice that annotated the first three Youtube videos. I'm guessing it's WIP?
  17. Is this going to have any influence on the sounds from third party developers as well? For example, could I turn down the switch sounds on the F-14?
  18. I think he means this, yes. Is it supposed to be there?
  19. Thanks for contributing absolutely nothing to this discussion, DD.
  20. RWR, MAWS and Datalink video will very likely be available tomorrow or on Tuesday. A little more patience.
  21. Radar bricks have been fixed apparently. It’s not written in the changelog though.
  22. My god you guys are delivering very substantial updates every couple of weeks. I have to get back to the C-101 now!
  23. Boy would I love to watch the datalink RWR video tomorrow. I hope the schedule is still the same. :)
  24. Well, according to the Q&A, programmers will return to Hornet development in the near future.
