  1. Okay you beta testers and developers, I know some of you have made your own missions while testing/playing this most excellent sim. How about sharing some of them while the rest of us come up to speed and make our own? Pretty please. :D:pilotfly: EDIT: To update title
  2. Good write up! Loved my first tour in the Huey. Then took up the Hawk, the F-15, the Mig-21, the Mig-15 and will soon hop into the F-86. This is great!
  3. Yup, couldn't resist...
  4. The locals weren't too happy about a fully armed Huey flying around town but what the heck...
  5. Sorry, I just couldn't resist...
  6. Yes! Thank you guys very much. I've been too busy enjoying the heck out of myself to come back and post anything of substance. But just wanted to add my thanks!!!
  7. Hey, there are many reasons why you're experiencing what you're experiencing, and many of them have nothing to do with ED. You'll have it soon enough, just add a little more patience and you'll be good to go. ;)
  8. Or at least the audio! ;)
  9. Yawn... Ok, I just had a wonderful restful sleep and am now ready to do a little gaming... You guys may now release 2.0, all set here! I have a strong need to do this: EDIT: Oops, I forgot that this forum can't show Apple emoticons.... Sorry about that!
  10. Not really sure about your situation. Are you using the F10 menu to try and get them to embark? If not, do so and see if that will work. I've only set up missions for myself to have troops embark and that's how I do it. Not sure if it's still the same if you set it up for AI and then take control. No idea about the beacon stuff though... sorry.
  11. Cibit, thanks for sharing this mission! I've yet to really get into the Mi-8... something about that darn Huey keeps calling me back. The few times I did fly her I found my Huey habits were messing me up. LOL Hopefully this and a couple of other missions that have been waiting for me to try will get me going. Thanks again!
  12. That would be so cool! I've got the next 4 days off so I'll have plenty of time to test the heck out of it!!! Thanks again for your continued efforts on this.
  13. Wow, MBot, that sounds/looks really great! Incredible what you've been able to do so far, too! Will definitely be keeping an eye on this.
  14. Geez, Ciribob, you've been busy! Really looking forward to trying this out but need to find the time to do so... Thanks for your work on this!
  15. Yes, mine is there.
  16. I know this isn't what you're looking for but it may give you some ideas and might be able to be tweaked a little to your desired use. Not sure as I'm pretty clueless about scripting and LUA language in general. Just trying to learn my way around using them. But earlier this year I found this one LUA script that generated, and is called, random flight plan traffic. I used it in a couple of missions just to liven up the airfields like you are talking about. I always add a bunch of airfield activity into my simplistic missions just for that atmosphere you're talking about. So if you know your way around LUAs you might find it helpful. Just do a search for it here and let us know how you get on.
  17. That would be soooo cool! I vote yes. :D
  18. Like simulated sling loading, I don't believe that using this script lets the troop weight get added to the helicopter. Using the embark function definitely does add the weight but I think I remember reading some where long ago that Ciribob said that it didn't and in my missions using it it doesn't. Thanks for the new version, Ciribob!
  19. Well, I own all but the C-101 and L-39 and my download was 7.2mb.
  20. Thank you sir! :thumbup::beer:

    DCS: F-5E!

Thanks for posting the news about the F-5's weapons, cofcorpse!
  22. Download is almost finished. Time to check it out...:pilotfly:
  23. Thanks for the update! No worries, real life is the priority. We all appreciate you working on getting this out to us. Take your time, just not too much. ;)
