  1. What sort of "goodies" did the D-9 install? I'm curious about that. Regards!
  2. How many people are currently working in Eagle Dynamics? I heard something about two offices, one in Moscow and another somewhere else. That sounds like a nice personnel increase than what can be seen in the video. Regards!
  3. LOL, I'd love to understand what they are saying. It's funny, nobody would say in that stuffy room hi-tech simulators are being developed! Regards!
  4. That doesn't sound good. Does it mean we can forget further high fidelity addons like the A-10? Will F-15, F-18 and Su-27 be just soft-core aircraft? I'm extremely disappointed :(:(:( Regards!
  5. Yoyo stated in that post new electrical model will be available for new developments only. Regards!
  6. I beg everynight this aircraft will be available in DCS some day... Regards!
  7. Sure, but real tracking while scan can be only carried out by AESA radars... Mechanical doppler radars do the trick recording previous tracking info, and updating the track's history when new fresh data is available. That's why I think that, against maneuvering targets, some sort of jigging in the HUD's target boxes should be expected. Regards!
  8. Why both targets have a stead, "perfect" lock in TWS? TWS only refresh target position each X seconds, therefore I would expect some sort of "jigging" in the HUD's target diamonds. Regards!
  9. Just to complete my previous coment Patch 1.1.0.9 change log http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/patches/dcs-wh_patch_1.1.0.9_en/ Regards!
  10. I'm pretty sure I've seen the WIND section implementation in the CDU in some change log, long time ago (pre-World times) Regards!
  11. Nice announcement! Future is bright for FC franchise, though some gave it up for dead. Regards!
  12. For DCS:F-35 development, a beautiful piece of information Regards!
  13. hahaha, sorry what an embarrasing missunderstanding! Anyway, let's hope your 'Big Kahuna' changes his mind someday, DCS is full of posibilities and a potential that FS just doesn't have, It's a more suitable platform for military simulations, we all would enjoy flying your creations in World, there is business here! Regards!
  14. Creator of this post is not Milviz, so I don't see how you can come to that conclusion :) anyway Milviz pop up in this forum now and then, I really hope he changes his mind and join to the rest DCS developers crowd! Regards!
  15. Sorry aaron, but after re-reading again all previous posts, it's still no clear for me what is provided by the API and what has to be model from scratch. Actually, if API feeds Euler/quaternions angles, then moment integration must be done by your module, it isn't worked out by DCS engine. I will have to look through this header (wHumanCustomPhysicsAPI.h) and see what is inside, I'm afraid. Anyway I'm glad that ED provides some (limited?) access to the API. Regards!
  16. Well, I at least would expect that stuff like collision engine and force & moments integration were elements retained in the core and accessible via API. If you had to develop your own collision model you would have to pass through a TON of info from the environment: terrain, objects, other aircraft collision points... and with an external integrator for forces, it's very easy to arrive at numerical instabilities if both clocks, world clock and model clock don't match. It's fine that ED let developers to touch things at the lowest level, but always there is a practical limit. I'm considering to pass my FM modules to DCS and I'm very interested on the potential of the engine. Regards!
  17. One question regarding EAFM. Do you define forces and moments and then DCS physical engine do all the integration for you? Or do you have to integrate also all the newton equations, sort out clashing conflicts with your own collision engine, etc? Is it THAT basic? Regards!
  18. Not really... It has two modes: Map (showing datalink contacts as well, but no radar contacts) and HUD repeater. Radar is controlled and displayed on the HUD. In Mig-29 though, only HUD repeater mode is available Regards!
  19. I always crawl through the features list in each new patch looking for this, with no success :( Regards!
  20. That is good news Olgerd :D Regards!
  21. Old F/A-18 model was fantastic already. To be honest there are other aircraft which require a face lift more urgently Regards!
  22. I never understood the use for this. Isn't ground stabilization more useful? Which situations can space stabilization be handy? Regards!
  23. Can anybody tell me how old these picture are and where they were taken? Regards!
  24. Fantastic! Looking forward to FC3 and DCS World update  Regards!
