  1. It should be good for Sabre vs MiG-15 scenarios. Hope it will have paved runaways? Anyway, I can already see myself blowing up panzers in A-10. :music_whistling:
  2. Everything is subject to change! :D
  3. Perfect weapon for a noob like me. :D
  4. You can press keys/buttons in controls settings to see what they do. All the numbers shown above are regular keyboard keys, not numpad (numpad numbers are used mainly for camera and views).
  5. Some modules have the option Engage - Mission and Rejoin in the Flight/Wingman radio menu, which does exactly what it says - AI attacks targets designated in the mission editor and rejoins. I've played with it some time ago and got some good results. I think it would suit the Viggen nicely. LN, could you please add this option? :D
  6. Have you checked for conflicting axes? For some reason DCS likes to assign throttle to my pedals... :)
  7. It would be great to have Crimea back to DCSW.
  8. Please allow tank jettison button and the cover to be bound to hotas buttons.
  9. Taxi lights switch bound to hotas button does not work. When the switch is bound to keyboard key, the lights can be turned on/off, but the switch moves only up, not down.
  10. Use the flashlight (LAlt + L) :D.
  11. Thanks! I've always enjoyed watching your videos!
  12. It seems that the radios are still very much WIP. :D The manual tuning works fine, as do the top row buttons labeled H, 1, 2, etc, if they are properly set in mission editor. As for the two dials (base selector and group selector), they don't seem to work correctly. As I understand it, the left dial is associated with the bottom buttons (labeled 0-9) and are used to communicate with air and ground units. There is a kneeboard page with a list of all units, their frequencies and "channels". Those channels are used here. For example, the kneeboard gives 3-1, you turn the dial to 3 (have to guess where that is, since the window doesn't show correctly) and press button 1. I've manage to get it to work, at least I heard other planes talk. The right dial is used for ATC comms, in conjunction with the buttons above it (A/G, B...) and in a same manner as above. The kneeboard provides a channel e.g. 4-A for Krymsk VHF, you turn the right dial to 4, and press button A. But the dial doesn't turn and I couldn't get it to work. edit: there are some other issues with the radios, reported here.
  13. Submitting a proper bug report, with steps how to reproduce it etc would be much more helpful than just posting a random video here.
  14. Trim works fine for me. It is a bit slow, which is a good thing, for better precision.
  15. No, it doesn't work for me too. I've reported it in bug section.
  16. I can confirm, I've seen it happen once. I couldn't turn the pages until I restarted DCS.
  17. If you put the waypoint on the target in mission editor, you can read the QFE from the kneeboard.
  18. ? Instrument lightning controls are on the left panel, behind the radio.manual: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=180252 +1 Some rotary switches do have cw/ccw keys, I hope they'll be added for all of them. WIP :D. Like above, hope they'll be added. No.
  19. The website I usualy use to convert mp3 to ogg: http://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-ogg Audacity, free, open source audio editing software. http://www.audacityteam.org/
  20. This: 1980s Swedish rock :D edit: I knew I still have it around after all this time :)
  21. Moving the FR22 mode selector completely stops functionality of both radios, regardless of the selector position. For example, the selector's default position is NORM+LARM, move it to H and back to NORM+LARM, radios will no longer work. In NORM+LARM, radio should simultaneously monitor selected frequency/channel and the guard channel (121.5MHz). This doesn't work, even if proper guard frequency is set in the mission editor (currently the frequency is wrong) FR22 mode selector makes no clicking sound when turning it with the keyboard keys Keyboard keys for FR22 mode selector are inverted ("Radio selector turn right" actually turns it left and vice versa) When turning the FR22 mode selector with the mouse, the selector still makes clicking sound after it reaches its limiting positions, if you keep clicking on it with the mouse FR22 mode selector is labeled wrongly, should be FR24 mode selector, if I'm not mistaken Radio volume knob can't be controlled with the mouse. It turns, but has no effect. Works fine with the keys.
  22. I haven't really made any progress at all :D. I spent a few hours last night just flying around, enjoying myself. Also spent some time sitting on the ground familiarizing with the cockpit, which I guess is a progress. I made a few landings, including on the road, which to my surprise went really well. On my first landing I forgot to add throttle after the touchdown, and I was wondering for a moment why the reverse thrust isn't engaging :megalol:. Fortunately it was a long runaway. I still find it strange to hit the throttle instead of brakes. :D I'll start my proper training later today.
  23. Kneeboard pages located in Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Kneeboard are not shown, only the frame is visible.
