  1. The website I usualy use to convert mp3 to ogg: http://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-ogg Audacity, free, open source audio editing software. http://www.audacityteam.org/
  2. This: 1980s Swedish rock :D edit: I knew I still have it around after all this time :)
  3. Moving the FR22 mode selector completely stops functionality of both radios, regardless of the selector position. For example, the selector's default position is NORM+LARM, move it to H and back to NORM+LARM, radios will no longer work. In NORM+LARM, radio should simultaneously monitor selected frequency/channel and the guard channel (121.5MHz). This doesn't work, even if proper guard frequency is set in the mission editor (currently the frequency is wrong) FR22 mode selector makes no clicking sound when turning it with the keyboard keys Keyboard keys for FR22 mode selector are inverted ("Radio selector turn right" actually turns it left and vice versa) When turning the FR22 mode selector with the mouse, the selector still makes clicking sound after it reaches its limiting positions, if you keep clicking on it with the mouse FR22 mode selector is labeled wrongly, should be FR24 mode selector, if I'm not mistaken Radio volume knob can't be controlled with the mouse. It turns, but has no effect. Works fine with the keys.
  4. I haven't really made any progress at all :D. I spent a few hours last night just flying around, enjoying myself. Also spent some time sitting on the ground familiarizing with the cockpit, which I guess is a progress. I made a few landings, including on the road, which to my surprise went really well. On my first landing I forgot to add throttle after the touchdown, and I was wondering for a moment why the reverse thrust isn't engaging :megalol:. Fortunately it was a long runaway. I still find it strange to hit the throttle instead of brakes. :D I'll start my proper training later today.
  5. Kneeboard pages located in Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Kneeboard are not shown, only the frame is visible.
  6. Well done guys!
  7. I wanted brake axis for a long time too, glad it's finally here. How does braking work in real Su-27, are there two separate toe brake controls for each wheel, or are both wheel brakes engaged simultaneously, like in MiG-21 and L-39?
  8. Thanks for the video, it made waiting for release a bit easier. :D
  9. Why did I read the title as "Screaming Viggens"? :megalol:
  10. Nice to see the Flanker finaly gets the brake axis. :D Also looking forward to see the new MiG-29 model, but above all the Viggen!
  11. ED very rarely, if ever, updates both 1.5 and 2.0 on the same day. So no, almost certainly it won't be available in 2.0 tomorrow. btw, it's open alpha. :)
  12. Track replays very much depend on the module. I've never had a buggy track with Gazelle or F-5 (to name just a few), while with some modules the replays always go wrong. It's been like this for a long time.
  13. That's my guess too.
  14. I really don't understand what this fuss is all about. Release into open beta is not an exception, not something unheard off. It's the standard procedure, new modules are released to either open beta or alpha, followed by stable a week or so later. As mentioned, getting into open beta is a piece of cake. I have all three versions, the stable one is the one I use the least. So people, hold off your pitchforks, release into open beta or alpha is a standard procedure, and a wise one if you ask me. :D
  15. Thanks for the heads-up. I wish you guys a smooth release! :pilotfly:
  16. No, in the Mission editor. By default it is set to the AI JTAC code.
  17. Not A-10C but interesting :D
  18. MiG-21 is designed as high altitude interceptor, its radar is not efficient below 3000m.
  19. English cockpit is not mandatory for me, Swedish one would be perfectly fine. I have M2000C and Gazelle, both have French cockpits only, which was never an issue. I even learned some French words. :D
  20. I'll probably be stuck on work until very late on Friday, maybe 7 or 8pm CET, but I'll have 10 days off after that, starting Saturday. :joystick:
  21. LOL... hard to resist isn't it? :D It's gonna be long 3 days...

    QFE

How will QFE work for higher altitude waypoints? Most aircraft in DCS struggle with QFE above 700m or so, it's out of the pressure scale.
