  1. It's a separate, independent install, pretty much the same size as stable release (38GB for me). But updates will take advantage of the other versions installed, i.e. updater will copy some files from the other version if you've previously updated it.
  2. +1 I didn't use beta before 1.5, but as soon as 1.5 came I installed the beta, which became the version in which I fly the most. I still have the stable version, but I haven't update it for months, it doesn't even have all my modules installed. Basicaly it's just sitting there, wasting SSD space. :D
  3. This is truly an amazing feature! Would it be possible to mark the radar positions (boxes) on F10 map, with the recently added markers? For player's planes and AI, after they land. RagnarDa, can you give more details about the bandwidth selection? The manual describes different modes as sensitivity, but aren't the bands actualy radar frequency ranges?
  4. I know M2000 uses mbar, that's why I created the table :), Hawk, maybe Gazelle too, but I'm not sure. Most if not all Russian planes use mmHg.
  5. Some discussion about radios here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=181709 Also some bugs: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=181649
  6. Here's an inHg to mbar conversion table I made for myself, which I keep in the kneeboard. :)
  7. 2018 would be my guess too.
  8. There are wind socks, you can place them in mission editor.
  9. There are also people who are not comfortable using beta, and have no disk space or desire to have both versions.
  10. ATC gives you QFE in inHg. Did you properly convert it to mbar?
  11. LOL What's next? Pilot puking all over the cockpit because his breakfast didn't agree with him? Maybe should be added to the failures list. :D
  12. 10x is waaay too much. Maybe 10% :) Variable speed would be good, if it's possible at all. IMO Fisherman82's suggestion is the best so far.
  13. Maybe it should be a bit faster, but not so much that it compromises precision. I'd rather have it slower than jumpy. :D BTW should the vertical speed indicator move as you adjust the QFE?
  14. @Calinho You should put only the last part of the link in youtube tags, in this case it would be this: iot4BMv0FDg
  15. I may be wrong, but I think the shadowplay is always running anyway, so it's just a matter of turning the indicator on.
  16. Perhaps the wrong coordinates are fed into the ck when starting from Anapa, thus my suggestion to nav fix on a waypoint near it. :)
  17. Could you create a waypoint near Anapa, do a nav fix on it and proceed with the mission, just to see if the same error is still there?
  18. Just a short one. Almost got bombed by AI. :D
  19. It's a bug.
  20. It's always a pleasure to give positive feedback. :)
  21. I always keep them on auto... too lazy to use manual :D
  22. It does make landings...interesting :D, but it's not difficult to compensate. It just needs some getting used to and practice.
  23. Which mission map? ARK-9 frequency range is 150-1300kHz, which means it can tune to non-directional beacons and runway inner/outer beacons.
  24. The roll isn't that bad IMO. If you need to fly straight and level, use the autopilot. :D
