Finde den Eimer ja mindestens so kultig, wie er hässlich ist. Aber auf jeden Fall eine schöne Bereicherung für die, wie ich finde, interessanteste Zeit des Luftkampfes.

Es sollte so viel von RAZBAM gemacht werden. Vielleicht ist es da ganz gut, wenn da ein Modul von einem anderen Team übernommen wird.

My comment was more targeted to the Mirage comparison. But yes against those fighters from at least 30 years later, it will not have a chance. Same for a Tomcat, which in its A version is more or less from the same time.

Please keep in mind, we are getting an MiG-23MLA, not a MiG-23MS. Alot of statements in this thread are thus not relatable to what we get. The N003 radar of the MLA was rather capable for its time and not to be compared with the radar we know from the MiG-21bis (and MiG-23MS). Detection ranges are said to be 55km against a fighter sized target above and 25km below horizon. The radar can automatically switch modes to the most suitable for the own and scanned altitude and has a range of different PRF available. Regarding the RWR, it was already stated that we will get both the SPO-10 and SPO-15, as latter was a frequent update to the MLA.

Maybe you want to re-read the post you quoted. It is about the stock (Russian) cockpit missing the radar screen, not the English one.

Habe bisher auch keine Performance Probleme festgestellt. Auch in VR nicht. Laut englischem Forum, soll wohl SSLR nur mit RTX Karten stabil funktionieren. Ob das stimmt, werde ich heute Abend mal testen.

Danke dir, ich hätte vermutlich noch ewig in der VR Software gesucht, bevor ich auf die Idee gekommen wäre, dass dies über DCS selbst geht. :) Übrigens frage ich, weil ich genau das selbe Problem wie Sofa hatte.

Darf ich mal fragen, wie man in der Oculus Software neu zentriert? Vielleicht bin ich zu blind das zu finden.

Wahrscheinlich ja. DCS prüft nur alle 24 Stunden automatisch, ob es ein Update gibt.

Well if it is no use, there is no point in including it. But unfortunately it is to late and this arcade feature has made it into the patch. I am disappointed I must say.

Its not only air to air that is more interesting, but also all air to ground stuff. Most of the work was still dumb bombs or primitve missiles, mostly command guided.

Will this become standard? There are still alot of servers ignorant of this expermintal setting and thus with the old behaviour. Would be nice to have it as a standard feature, as it seems it works flawlessly.

There were a lot of stupid tactics brought up for all kind of aircraft. Most of them propably for really desperate situations. Though that does not mean they were or would have ever been actually employed.

Well why not add older F-16 and F-18 to match a MiG-29 then?
