fixed [REPORTED]2.5.6.48283 F-16 Generator/Power issue
Bouli306 replied to WingC3's topic in Bugs and Problems
https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=272453&highlight=main+generator Same problem most probably -
Old and in some cases obsolete. But a good read nevertheless.

Looking at the horizontal tails ...what do they do.?
-
A spin is a deepstall with a higher than 30 degrees/sec yaw rate. But still it is a deepstall.
-
First off..when something is available on the internet it is not a guarantee that it is 'legal'. Second...are you sure it is an engine limit? I think it is a structural limit.

I am a 66v2 guy so so not know about the 68. With the 66 you can still slew the cursor when a target is locked.
-
Not talking about STT. You will enter STT coming from a single TMS FWD...which is SAM mode. Than TMS FWD again and you will enter STT.
-
Thanks

Anybody notice that in SAM mode the FCR can only lock 1 target? As far as i know the radar should be able to lock 2 entities.

fixed [REPORTED]2.5.6.48283 F-16 Generator/Power issue
Bouli306 replied to WingC3's topic in Bugs and Problems
How about during a BIT? And the radar is completely powered on the ground with FCR in ON except it is not transmitting and receiving. -
it is no P&W but GE engine.
-
Did you enter the freq of the ILS and set the course in the DED?
-
I wonder where did you find that stuff about the initial 90degrees of roll?? As far as i am concerned CATIII would just cut roll rate with 40%.
-
That is only with NWS off or fail or hydraulic B failure and only at low speeds.

fixed Cat III takeoff with no afterburner pitch down after gear up
Bouli306 replied to FoxTwo's topic in Bugs and Problems
Officially you put the gear up at or below 9 degrees aoa. I agree about the inconsistancy but in AB the acceleration is a lot more compared to MIL takeoff. -

What is your AOA when selecting gear up? -
Between .2 and .5 of a second. Still it happened that o ly 1 tank came off because of the power cycle...
-
We tell the pilots to hold the E-J knob for at least 1 sec. That is because of the delay with certain stores and/or because the EPU kicks in at a certain moment and that might cause a power interruption..
-
Be aware that in some cases fuel is used to put the CG aft so the jet is more prone to depart or go into a deepstall..

[REPORTED]F-16 pitches up when accelerating
Bouli306 replied to deadpool's topic in Bugs and Problems
ED, i just tested this in the RNLAF sim and when straight and level and accelerating the jet does NOT go up. Also spoken to the pilots and they confirm it does not go up. Also spoken to FLCS specs and they confirm this systemwise also. However, rolling inverted and releasing the stick the nose goes down because the jet is trimmed for 1G. Als going nose up (starting around 30 degrees pitch) the jet wants to go slightly nose up for the same reason. -
Wow what a bunch of ....! This is how it is supposed to work: Datalinks was a system on board the Viper it was called IDM but not used and operational anymore: Links 16 is the link (it is not called datalink) that is used in DCS and IRL. There are still a lot of things not working as IRL BUT. Link-16 and IFF are totally separate systems. LINK-16 in DCS: is working via AWACS as "modem" what is called NTR. When some tactical stuff is met somebody in the AWACS will declare it as friendly, neutral/unknown or hostile. This is shown as green, white, or red on the radar and HSD. This is at this moment not working good in the F-16 in DCS. IRL a flight of F-16's could use and set up Link-16 only in their flight when no AWACS is available. IFF in DCS interrogates the modes and codes selected via the UFC. When a LOS interrogation is done, no correct response you will see a yellow/amber square around the radar return where your cursor is when not replying correct. It will show a green circle when the response is correct. When a SCAN interrogation is done all aircraft will send a incorrect/correct reply (or not when their IFF is OFF). so you could see a lot of replies on the HSD for example (also looking backwards). At this moment i would rely on IFF, but IFF will not color the Link-16 or radar return a certain color. it will show a green circle, amber square for a few seconds and that is it.l By the way, only a color of the Links-16 or only the color of an IFF return would not be enough to shoot somebody in the face...but somebody in AWACS is really screwing up when he assigns a red symbol to an unknown or friendly entity

Do not go to SINGLE TARGET TRACK only 1x TMS up..
