There is a save custom snap view . I've managed too save my view looking straight on to gun sight . Needs some tweaking but it works . I just moved my head into position and saved with key bind . Hold the keys for a few seconds. Next time you start DCS your saved view should be there.

Sounds like A6 been sidelined for other projects. This is taking way too long. Even the AI version still not implemented. No sign of A6. Could be with us 2023 .

So the F14 was advertised along with the A6 , this was a selling point for me. Yet still no sign of the A6 intruder in any shape or form . I will not fall for this again. I will no longer buy pre-order.

Thank you for your input . But this is about how DCS has a Spotting issue . Now new patch Stealth blocks that MOD . Very clever and VERY quick of DCS to block this . Yet still waiting for a real solution . Very cheeky DCS .

Ill be honest it feels like on certain runways or weather conditions that the game is trying to catch up while running down the runway its like its warping and you not gaining any speed yet too fast to stop in time . its like the airframe is stuck to the tarmac or grass . This is with M.T.exe .not tried with standard exe .

What are the keys to move the head over in VR to get center sight . Thanks new too the Mossy . Can i save the position .

Been having same problems with the WWII birds . The other day was in the A8 - anton this thing would not take off even though I flown it many times the weather was wet and over cast . Last night I put rudder and take off assistant on . And had great difficulty taking off . Two deaths into fence end of runway. Seems that it would not pick up speed even at full throttle and rpm . I'm going to untick auto rudder and take off assistance. Let's see if that works I fly in VR . With MT exe.

The only way this will be fixed is to keep going at it . This has been going on for years . I'm tired of straining my eye sight looking for targets. VR is amazing. But this game has problems in spotting and LOD .

YES and NO , you will see a big black dot but when you get closer that black dot goes then you really have to start zooming in and out as your loose that darkness of that black dot . This is when DCS is in LOD state its still not perfect but it helps to see at a distance ,But once in combat range it becomes hard too see again . Has it's good points and bad . It's DCS lod that's the problem. Server with 92 WWII players and VR users say same thing "I cant see <profanity>" . .........lol .

Yes just goes to show ED have done nothing about the ever increasing spotting problem .

Ten pages about the spotting issues in DCS . Wow . !!!! Another combat flight simulator had the same problem only few years back . Same old people complaining about the spotting issues . Nothing was getting done . One Sunday afternoon an event that takes place every three months were the server is full to its max 80 players full real settings best of the best online campaign . WAS Empty . or very little players . When asked what's happened why so little players the answer was WE cant see targets they disappear . Within Three months and a POLL asking is there a problem with spotting and a 90% YES came back . It was fixed . We the DCS community have spent $100s if not $1000s of dollars on this product . It deserves looking into and fixing .

DCS has a big problem with the spotting issue . But They choose to ignore it . I am hoping that Vulkan will change things as this will be a new game engine . And This has been going on for years , I mean years . It needs a Youtuber streamer to make a video and send it out to the public . Maybe Grim Reapers or Growling sidewinder could make the video . I think its the only way this will be addressed . I fly in VR now and with the new updates 2.7 onwards things have become worst for spotting .

It's not the actual spotting it's when the dot renders into an object that DCS falls short of . This has been going on for years . See target ( black dot ) zoom in to identify and that black dot disappears. Why not test in another combat sim and come back here . I think 60km is way over the top . 22km is more to real life .

Just bought the Anton as I fly online mostly and VR . Still Testing, one thing I noticed is it's seems underpowered . Books and documents suggest this was fast at sea level. 600kmph. Anyone got good info.

There is a setting for aliron and ridder trim in special options for the 109 not sure on A8 .worth a check

Totally agree. DCS is stuck on 1080p resolution. That's the only way to see things in DCS . Go above 1080p and your be struggling to see things . VR we can see big black dots but as soon as you get close they vanish or if you zoom in vanish . Other sims have managed to pull spotting off . Why not a combat simulator called DCS . Nearly 100 players tonight on a WWII server how good is that . Yet people struggling to spot.

Flew tonight trees are back to normal and details on ground look back to normal did a uninstall and reinstall of Normandy map . The low res might well be in low res area . I seen Paris . When taking off

Did a repair and moved the sliders low too high in options while sat in cockpit the trees don't change and all buildings look very low res . Even if slider is moved all the way too the right . ? Too me looks like all of the map is in low Resolution . Ill test again tonight on 4ya server . Looks a bit odd too me .

So if i don't buy the new Normandy 2.0 map will 1.0 stay at low resolution like the photo below . This is in VR . So let me get this Right i buy Normandy 1.0 many years ago 2017 , but now i get a downgraded 1.0 low resolution as i haven't bought 2.0 . Or is this a Bug With very low textures . What is the point of all this hard work that goes into making beautiful 3D modules at $50.00 , With hours and hours of time spent on maps and patch fixes . WHEN you cant actually see any "GOD DAM" Targets or contacts due too the awful spotting mechanic's in DCS- WORLD WWII . When, yes When is this going to get fixed . !!!!! DCS . WHEN . !!!!!! Sunday night and we have 100 players on a WWII server and every one is complaining at not being able to spot any aircraft . Some people even laughing at the lunacy of it all . This is the oldest complaint from this long standing community with DCS and its been going on for years . . We would like answers please ED . WWII is growing with the MT thread and new maps coming out . New players are coming and yet are leaving WWII. VR is on the up with new headsets that are cost effective and DCS WWII needs to keep up . Can we have a answer if any improvements are coming too DCS WWII with the spotting .
