Quick update: A friend of mine is going to a museum to see if he can get some data about the P-47, if he gets anything, I'll post it here. Also, there's a book called "Senta Pua"(which was made by former P-47 pilots), and there you can find several reports about the P-47 flight model, but the problem is, the book is all in portuguese, I would have to translate it. "Senta Pua" is about the Brazilians P-47D fighting over Italy in the WWII. :)
