nothing, those scores are just for the campaign progression logic. -
Finished the Yalu Campaign
Reflected replied to av8orDave's topic in F-86F Hunters over the Yalu Campaign
Hi David, Thanks for posting here, congratulations on completing the campaign. Zero deaths that's the biggest accomplishment in any of my campaigns, so well done. Good call about lag pursuit. I'm often impatient, pull to hard and run out of energy haha. Unfortunately DCS has very few assets that I can work with in a Korean War scenario, there's no way I could have made 12 A2A missions interesting, so that's why I opted for splitting the campaign in 2 'chapters' and adding A2G as well. Thanks again for the support!- 1 reply

Windows 11, and I have the Oculus app and Oculus Tray Tool running.

Gotta be some sort of a memory leak.

Since the new update, nearly every time I open the F10 map, my FPS drops to single digit in VR. I need to pause the game, and alt tab out to something else, and then back, unpause, and the FPS goes back to normal - until the next map view. Quest 2 here.
-
Oh man, that sounds even worse...

I really appreciate that the Normandy map gets a lot of updates and attention, but it seems like every 2-3 months the frequency of every airfield changes. Which means I need to update every single one of my campaign missions, again and again. Also, sometimes parking spot numberings change too, that fundamentally mess up existing missions. Can you please tell me when the frequencies will be final? Only then I will update my missions, because I've done this 3 times already, and it's pretty tedious. Also, in the future please consider non-destructive updates, making sure that updates don't break existing content. Thank you

Hey @Sydy thank you so much for the support and the nice videos! The Weasel campaign is by my friend Ground Pounder Sims but I highly recommend it, it's really fantastic. I hope you'll enjoy both of those. All the best!

When you add the new airfields can you please make sure that the frequency of the existing airfields remain the same? Otherwise all missions need to be updated - for the 3rd time. also, when can we expect Biggin Hill to be finished please? Currently it only has a few parking spots, not enough for any meaningful missions. thank you

I can't port a mission from one map to another without completely redoing it from scratch. Every trigger line. Then, the N2 map doesn't have some of the places where the campaign takes place - e.g. Amiens Prison? So I need to find new targets, which means all voice overs go to the trash and I need new ones, as well as briefings, briefing images and kneeboard pages. The only thing I could use from V for Victory would be the Mossie skins.

Absolute cinematic shootdown!
Reflected replied to Jetliner's topic in P-51D: The Blue Nosed Bastards of Bodney Campaign
Oh no, tonight you sleep with ze Germans… that 109 though, it nearly crashed into you! pS: never attack gun emplacements diving in a straight line like that. Stay low and jink! -
Awesome, thanks for sharing!

Sorry, it's not adjustable. I placed the markers so that it doesn't fully block out the LZ. Looking at original video footage, the DCS smoke markers do need a rework IMO.

fixed Quest VR - DCS crashing right after DCS splash screen
Reflected replied to mimamema's topic in Game Crash
OH wait, I unchecked PTC, then some update downloaded, and now DCS works! Interesting because I tried to launch in 2D, yet the Oculus Software made it crash... Thanks a lot for the help! -

fixed Quest VR - DCS crashing right after DCS splash screen
Reflected replied to mimamema's topic in Game Crash
The same thing started happening to me right now. I click on DCS, get the logging in message, then the loading screen then the exe disappears from the task manager. Tried a slow repair but didn't help. -
Random Controller Question
Reflected replied to WhiskyTango's topic in DCS: P-51D Debden Eagles Campaign
Hi, no this is not something the mission can control. -
IMPORTANT - Uninstall your unofficial mods!

I don’t think there’s anything wromg with the Vaicom code. I mean if you run Spotify in the background that also puts more stress on the cpu, but that doesn’t mean Spotify needs to work on anything I may be wrong though, I never used vaicom.
