  1. In my opinion, every axis in any module that is an axis in the real aircraft, should be available as a bindable as an axis in the game. While with encoders that scrolls from and to infinity, one can run into trouble if they are axis. Cheers!
  2. I edited my answer. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  3. Because it's not axis in the real aircraft. And it would probably work very badly. What to do when you've reached the end of your physical axis, but you still need to "scroll" further? [emoji848] Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  4. Correct. Whenever you want to land, order the AI to "hold position/anchor here" or whatever the command is. Then when you're done, make AI rejoin formation. This works perfectly. [emoji4] Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks, I solved it another way.
  6. A re-installation will never help with that issue. Even better, you can perform a repair that will take minutes and reset all the core files. And if rename your DCS Saved Games folder, the game will be completely reset to vanilla. Perform a traceroute, and it will tell you where the problems are on the route to the site. Open a command line window, type tracer address and press enter, and off you go.
  7. Absolutely my wish, while it seems they won't be dipping their toes in the current conflict.
  8. Come to think of it, many other people have reported the same, so I don't think that's the issue. While, when they eventually fix it, you might experience issues regarding trimmed position conflicting with the curves. But like I wrote, it's most noticeable in helicopters. Cheers! 9. In the DCS logs folder under Saved Games. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  10. That's why you want to perform a traceroute so you can tell your ISP where it stops. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  11. Wait a minute! You have set curves on your FFB base? Try without and see if the stick moves when trimming then. DCS does NOT support curves with FFB, because the curves will never match with the actual linear stick position the FFB depends on. Support for this has been requested in the general wishlist section. It might not be so noticeable in an airplane, but try it in a helicopter and the trim will ALWAYS be off. Cheers! 12. Sure, that's known. But how does triggers, voice overs etc. work then? Cheers!
  13. Correct! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  14. Could you try to replicate in SP with a short track on the Caucasus map? Maybe it's the INS doing shenanigans in MP. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  15. Irony at it's best! [emoji1] [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  16. Use Notepad++, it's free and NOT the Windows Notepad. Open the file, find the line with TacView in it and then add two dashes in front of the line like this --whatever TacView has placed here.. Then the line should turn to green and you have done it correctly. [emoji6] Save, exit and start DCS. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  17. You might want to uncomment the TacView line in the export.lua file too. Cheers!
  18. You should make a new thread about it! [emoji1303] Not even sure why this one haven't been closed. If you read the first post their literally saying that threads with a lot of stars will get noticed, this post will just drown in this thread. And even if I support your suggestion, I cannot rate it. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  19. Wasn't aware of that. Cool! Great idea, and would be cool if they could fix the brightness issue! Can you explain what you mean by dynamically? Cheers!
  20. Excellent idea! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  21. I've never used DCS in VR, (basically I haven't used it since the 90s. EF2K was a blast at the time [emoji6]). Some VR users need to respond. Num Enter is the Enter key on your numerical pad. Lower right on your keyboard. It resets the to the default configured zoom in 2D. And Num5 resets to the default centre view. I've might mistaken you, I'm referring to on flatscreens. Not sure how snapviews work in VR. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  22. Like I wrote. The file will NOT be populated by modules until you save a snapview for each module. To quickly do this, just enter a module, press NumEnter and Num5 to center and reset zoom, then press RAlt+Num0 to save. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  23. Now, how could Aerges predicted that the Germany map would come out? Nah, they won't even compare. Have you guys considered at all that the tech and knowledge developed in/through the F1 might be used to get the F-104 out sooner?
  24. That's really strange as that's exactly what a repair does. Oh, well! Happy you solved it! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
