No, it doesn't need an overhaul. Because it's not a replay system as stated above. It's a tracking/debugging system that saves every input you do, and nothing else. We need something completely new. In a perfect world... I believe the main problem is that various maps are build with "different tech", and we also run into "the earth is flat" problems.

I'm sure I could've learned it. The hinderence was the panic thing I guess. So why bother when instant trim worked better for me, and I always fly with the trim pressed anyway. The wish/requests specifies "new", so I'm confident that no one is asking anything to be removed. Never for me, but I sort of knew where my last position was, so I would instantly move it there while keeping the button pressed. I guess we all have our different ways. And I'll never fly without FFB ever again. Or at least use a spring less one. Tips for new users. Get a cheeeaaap second hand joystick. Remove the spring, and wrap a couple of rubber bands from each side over the base of the stick, and observe of much better you suddenly became at flying helicopters. Cheers!

Concur! Pre-FFB, I couldn't wrap my head around the "centre position trim", while instant worked well for me. I have no idea how "fade in, fade out" works, and I never will. I'll support the wish in any case. Cheers!

Pretty sure they are not. He's just frustrated like the rest of us. We basically all the want the same thing. ED should hire a "game" manager that oversees the devs working on the core, and then all the engineers can tinkle with FF all they want. They sure do! You're not alone, and it must be frustrating for the mods when asked for updates each and every day when there's nothing new to show. I'm just addicted to this community, and read most of the posts here. Ah, don't mind us "veterans" that frequent the forum daily. I guess "automated" means something completely different to you than to me. SD wrote they are working on it, but I'm not sure he understood you. I'm pretty sure ED is not working on an "automated" system, I really hope they are not, and rather take the BMS approach. The "automated" SC system sucks. Like @Raven (Elysian Angel) I want an enhanced ATC, not automated at all. In a perfect world we would have something like BeyondATC, and that's why I use VAICOM for the time being, because we have no clue to what the new ATC will come and what it will be like. I really hope it will either include Speech Recognition out of the box, while I'm sure it won't, so my hope it still will be compatible with VAICOM/VoiceAttack even if it's a 3rd party app. You are aware you can assign a hat/(or buttons), to browse the radio menu, that will only work with the menu when it's open? Like your trim hat. Yup, just like we have in BMS. The game handles all that for you in game. No "AI" needed. Cheers!

It's your wish and you are entitled to wish for whatever, while it baffles me that people are willing to spend time converting audio files to ogg files, then upload a limited set to some folder instead of using other players with thousands of hours of music that can be controlled with VoiceAttack.
