  1. A recording is useless for the devs. What they want is a track. When you exit a mission, there's a button called "Save Track". Click it, give it a relevant file name, and post the file here. Cheers!
  2. And the Huey! [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  3. Exactly that one! Thanks buddy! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  4. You expect too much from users. That was the point. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  5. Don't they come with seat belts? The one I saw even had "force feedback" belts. That's the one I want. Don't remember what kind of seat it was though, but was tested with DCS F/A-18C.
  6. That will be a waste of time. Just perform a full repair, and rename the DCS folder under your saved games, and your DCS is back to vanilla. Cheers!
  7. No need to apologise! This is what the forums are about. The easy comms settings are enabled by default, and that can catch people off guard. Never tried to enforce on it in a mission though. Only off! Cheers!
  8. You expect too much! [emoji1] [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  9. Fair point! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  10. You need to turn it off. Apologies if I wasn't clear. But you have to turn the historical filter off. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  11. And if you're realist, December, like Raven hints at. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  12. Nobody has found a solution yet. And they have tried! So, I'd say that currently the answer is "no, unfortunately not"! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  13. @MoCluck Oh, another Treesize user! You can safely delete them, but they will just be downloaded again. (Have a look at the latest wishlist thread, and give your opinions there). What you can do is move coremods to another disk, and just make a symbolic link back to the main folder. Many users have done this with maps when their disk gets full. My DCS installation is ≈1TB. https://www.howtogeek.com/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/ There's even a shell extension you can use, which makes it all easy through a GUI. I know some other people are using even easier software to do this. The name escapes me though. Cheers!
  14. Hope Taz is all well. [emoji1317] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  15. Latest DCS update contains the CH assets that are listed in the Newsletter/changelog. They are named differently from the mods in the modpacks. If you don't see them in the editor it's beacuse you haven't deactivated "historical mode". The little clock icon on the bottom of the Mission Editor screen. Cheers!
  16. Thanks! Great write up. Why people insist on using racing seats is beyond me. It just makes AAR so much harder. Oh, well! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  17. And for texture mods, like Barthek's etc. Use SLAM as the mod manager. It will apply your mods in seconds and not wear out your SSDs. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk Look up Rudel_chw's guide to OvGME. Very well written. Personally I have moved on to Open Mod Manager, which is the same dev as OvGME, and it's currently developed. OvGME is not. Also look up SLAM in the user files section/forum, as it's much MUCH better for large mods. Extremely easy to setup. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  18. Maybe all CH relevant wishes could be moved to that section? @BIGNEWY Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  19. Nice write up though. Thanks!
  20. In the Huey, at least with the old engine model, you could be above the red line for a while, but then it blew. Not sure if it was at minutes/seconds so and so. Or if it was a dice throw. Only happened to once. One could say I learned from my mistakes. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  21. People have tried this before you, and will be very happy if you manage to do it. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  22. You didn't get the joke! You wrote 50 millibits per second and not Megabits. Pretty sure milli ain't gonna cut it for streaming. Try this instead. @BIGNEWY Can we please get rid of this forced merging of replies/posting if you do it in less than five minutes. Multi quoting works fine.
  23. He forgot the /j
  24. This subject surfaces from time to time as sure as auto/easy AAR. I can see where OP is coming from, with valid points. Personally disk space is not an issue for me. Compared to the 20TB of baby/children videos of my daughter, it's nothing. [emoji6] Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  25. Just stop using and forget about it. It's a relic from FC level planes, and only works with those unless you have enabled easy comms. Learn the radios in the modules. It's fun and gives you a better understanding of how everything works. Cheers!
