  1. The current A/G tutorial missions for rockets/guns and bombs have the player bunt over. I know that it is a tutorial for the system however it is very bad training especially for new players that have never seen a normal dive attack. My recommendation is to change it to a normal dive attack with a roll in. Also as a side note. I never heard of setting the altimeter to the target elevation outside of the special system the Swedish Viggen uses. The Mirage doesn't have the altimeter range for it. Normally you simply calculate your altitude above target elevation by subtracting target elevation from your height above sea level.
  2. Are you sure you are using the correct controls? There are two similar controls. The disconnect trigger works as you described and then there is the disengage lever which disables the auto pilot completely.
  3. Currently the sun cover of the radar screen blocks the mouse movements. The mouse latches onto the surface of the cover instead of the knobs behind it. Since you dont need to touch the cover it would be cool to just touch the knobs as a pilot would by putting their fingers into the small gap. In VR I have to move very close to the radar screen to fully uncover the knobs in order to make the mouse jump from the sun cover to the knobs.
  4. The F1 has multiple knobs that have two axis or a two position setting and an axis. E.g. the knobs for cockpit lights on the right. It would be very easy to control one axis with LMB and the other one with RMB. Currently it is difficult to catch the correct axis. The knob to set the vector on the IDN is the worst offender. Finding that knob to switch between bearing/distance is really difficult. A solution could be to cycle with RMB and LMB drives the axis.

I dont have a cutoff on my physical throttle and it would be nice to have a toggle for cutoff/idle so that i can set my physical throttle range to cover idle to max AB instead of cutoff to max AB. That would allow for finer controls of RPM. I already got more precision in changing the axis to a slider and manually changing the axis so that more of the physical range is covering cutoff->MIL.
  7. Yeah, so i just yanked my head down there in VR and there is indeed the gap to touch the buttons. Didn't know it was a problem in 2D with the RWR. The thing with the sun cover right now is that it doesnt block the sun but blocks your fingers(mouse).

  11. It is difficult to see if you pressed the button in or not. Would it be possible to assign one way to LMB/RMB? E.g. RMB only presses the button in but doesnt pull it.

  13. Each side can control two displays afaik. So think of it like two cockpits of e.g. the Hornet next to each other.
  14. Arbeitsspeicher: Du hast da alles passend eingekauft. Solange du im Bios XMP aktiviert hast, ist da erst mal alles in Ordnung. Für the CPU kannst du mal precision boost anschalten und testen. Auf jeden Fall nicht einfach einen multiplier für alle cores einstellen, denn ohne sehr gute Kühlung (min. custom Wasser) kommst du nicht über den precision boost.   16. Ok, tested steamVR and no problem. Ran clean+repair again, deleted saved games and ran with openXR again. Same problem. I think openxr is the problem. Log attached for that run. Maybe ED knows what is going on but they officially don't support it afaik. cleanrepairOpenXRonly.log
  17. Copy, I have yet to test that. But that would indicate it is actually a DCS bug and not something else.
  18. In the video you can see that mirrors cause black screen and water does not render. Turning off mirrors removes black screen in front of cockpit mirrors. You can also see that the memory is at the limit. I noticed this first in a custom multiplayer campaign with mods but only ~2000 units, so i reproduced the problem with the attached mission without mods. The attached log is produced while capturing video 1. No problem in 2D. Note that if I see it correct the swap file usage is basically null for DCS. All AMD system. OpenXR used for VR. RAM 32GB, VRAM 16GB. I tried removing all mods, DCS repair and deleting shaders including terrain shaders. dcs.log test_9500units.miz MirrorWatterBug.trk
  19. A nice new effect would be cool. Main problem with the current standard "DCS" smoke effect is that it will obscure the target when doing a normal range pattern even with only one aircraft. Example of the BDU-33:
  20. I don't know if this is supposed to be this way. I thought this had been recognized as a bug before but could not find anything. See screenshots:
  21. Select draw. Draw any object. Continue with "Select" on the draw panel. LMB to drag a previously drawn object while moving the map with RMB. Everything but polygons move opposite of the map movement. Polygons seem to be fine. Initial creation of a draw object also seems to be fine.

    @MoratThat probably depends also on ED. They have not implemented L16 API into the core game. Idk what Razbam can access there. Ideally we get more L16 messages supported than Viper/Hornet.
