  1. Using b550 and a 6900 XT here. Had an issue with some USB ports but overall it works well. It's tricky to get the performance where you want it but just getting video was almost plug&play. There is a keybind in DCS to reset head position. If you use that you don't have to hold your head still and can change seating postion anytime.
  2. I am running these settings very stable. They are from a hardware forum and I could not find anything that's running Fire Strike better.
  3. Yes, same server same aircraft but very different load times. It's the same with missions in SP. MP is what i tried twice. I'll try again with the new update.
  4. The mod introduced incredibly long loading times on my system. Just selecting new aircraft in the ME froze DCS for a minute. Joining a server took more than 5 minutes and it didn't load the cockpit at first. What could be the problem there? With the mod removed and deleted shaders, it took less than 30 seconds to join the same server.
  5. Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the app. Very useful with VR and going back to older versions!

Nice photos posted. We definetly need those Draken paintings:
  7. Hey I am unable to change the elevation in RWS after using TWS AUTO/MAN. Switching back to TWS I can adjust the elevation again in MAN, however it's still stuck in RWS. The track doesn't show two MiGs that are spawned via script but shows the bug correctly for me. ScanElevation2.trk
  8. So uh... When will it be announcend? What versions? Looking forward to it! P.S. I am guessing here.
  9. Search modes (e.g. RWS) that are meant to detect objects at long range usually have the radar stabilized to the horizon, not only in pitch but also in roll. The reason for this is that it disconnects the searched volume from the attitude of the aircraft. So the pilot can easily visualize the searched volume and possible hits as well as doesn't have to adjust the radar with attitude changes like Donglr already explained. In some submodes even azimuth is disconnected from the aircraft attiude (not implemented yet in the Hornet). In modes (ACM modes) where the pilot is meant to already see the target, the radar is actually referencing the aircraft's attitude. That way the pilots doesn't have to manipulate the radar but can keep looking at the target and change the aircraft attitude (maneuver) to aquire a track.
  10. If you have a track or video, check the quantity of bombs in the selected program. If it is 0, there will be no release but a ready indication. That might be a different bug in itself.
  11. Awesome stuff! Wish you all the best for development.
  12. Hey there, would you be so kind and check again if that information is correct? There seems to be a misunderstanding somewhere. Thanks
  13. Probably still relevant: https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/english/digital-combat-simulator/dcs-world-2-5/bugs-and-problems-ai/weapon-issues/261391-acknowledged-laser-maverick-can-track-through-clouds
  14. It is. https://www.japcc.org/aar/
  15. That's not what the USMC or Navy or NATO does. If both hoses are working, the first aircraft goes to the right and the second one (usually the wingman) goes to the left hose. That's because the overall flow is from left to right. It's pretty annoying that you can't use the real flow in DCS or have to call the tanker in an inverted order.
  16. They can likely only update it when also including other bug fixes with it, e.g. currently it is not wind corrected so it doesn't match the ASL.
  17. The tanker have lights that illuminate the fuselage. In DCS they are not modeled. The engine did not allow it in the past but as far as I know it should be possible right now. Be sure to have the little light on the probe on. That is working right now.
  18. Copy, I see the error now. The field is auto-completing the user name.
  19. When saving the account settings i get this error despite the email address matching or no new email entered.
  20. Awesome! Didn't see that before.
  21. The island is part of the U.S. DoD greatest range complex and used as a range for live fire events. Seems like it could be a key part of a DCS map. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farallon_de_Medinilla
  22. The current implemenation can be troublesome for new players as they don't know what they are looking at.
  23. Yes, indeed. This is not about the antenna itself. The question is how this is displayed on the DDI. If you pitch or roll the jet, the elevation caret will stay stabilized in reference to the horizon with RWS. In STT, it is currently not stabilized to the horizon. It will show the target LOS in reference to aircraft attitude. This might be wrong or correct. Let's see if Bignewy can check with the team. Either way there is a logic behind both ways.
  24. Thanks for checking in. May you check if this is also true with STT (the track shows STT)? The difference in ACM vs RWS/TWS makes sense.
