Al Dhafra Unable to select parking spots 08-35 for helicopters. They seem to be the real world spots for the attack helicopters. Not so big of a problem: Spots 92, 95, 97 cannot be selected for the bigger planes.

Mission Planning Any news on flight planning tools? The current SP tools are very limited and not available in MP. Putting in Lat/Long waypoint data in cockpit is not only very time consuming but also unrealistic. Fuel planning will be very important around the carrier and can't be done with ingame tools.

Known bug that hopefully makes it in the next update.

Wasn't it the other way around? It makes more sense to use the t16000 throttle with the rocker when unable to use pedals.

#1 senaki might have 27 as the standard active runway. You need a good wind to change the active runway, ~4+ kn to the west. And I sometimes forget that the wind directions shows the to direction and not from. #2 can't help you there

+1 Obwohl ich glaube, dass das ein weltweites Phänomen ist. ;) Einfach mal entspannen und ein fertiges Modul fliegen oder die Systeme nutzen die funktionieren. Wie Kreisch schrieb, können die Entwickler es nicht "richtig" machen. Razbam auf der einen Seite, Belsimtek auf der anderen...

+1 Fight online with friends. Against ai you can't apply all the real tactics. I guess the 80 % not seeing the enemy applies, but with mig21 vs F5 you often end up in a bfm fight. In my experience the key is (besides keeping a tally all the time) to be able to see if you are in a 2C or 1C situation. Should you fly max sustained turn rate or minimum turn radius?

Ich meinte erstmal nur die Viggen. Bei mir steht der Kompassring um das Radar still und Positionsupdates über das Radar sind 100 km+ falsch. Solange das Ziel kein Schiff ist, sollte man aber klar kommen... Ich hoffe, die beheben diese neuen Sachen im nächsten Update der beta.

Das letzte Beta Update hat auch noch andere Bugs eingeführt. Da sie die viggen dieses Jahr aus der Beta holen wollen und auch alle Fehler beheben wollen, würde ich mir da keine Sorgen machen.

Like other modules the L-39 needs an overhaul for the cockpit reflections in my opinion. I am used to reflections of bubble canopies in gliders. In my experience they can be distracting and you need to readjust your eyes to look into the distance again after you accidentally focused on the reflections. The current implementation in DCS can make one side of the canopy pretty much unusable. While some reflection look like their RL counterpart (screenshot with forward view), some are too much (view over the left shoulder). The video shows a passenger taking pictures out of the canopy. While some of his photos and also the video cameras focus on elements within the cockpit and therefore show much reflections, some shoots (0:19) are focused on things outside the canopy. It's even hard to see the reflection that covers the tail section (red star) of the other L-39. It's is nearly impossible to see the reflection against the blue sky and white clouds. In DCS the different eye or camera focus is not simulated (at least with my settings). Therefore I hope ED can "tune down" the reflections to more reflect what you would see looking out of the canopy and not what you would see if you try to find the dirt on the canopy you missed during preflight. The most valuable time in DCS for me has been in the L-39 with someone in the back and front seat. That includes awesome Red Flag missions with the 104th, many Blue Flag hours, training with the squadron and single player. Flying as a crew seems to be the most fun not only IRL but also in the sim. While the L-39 is a great airplane and trainer, in my opinion we could benefit from a trainer with modern western avionics, if it can do FAC(A) and other mission even better.

Wenn du innerhalb der Klammer bist, ist das gut. Ich würde versuchen, alle Faktoren im Blick zu behalten und nicht zu stark auf einen zu konzentrieren.

They also want the 2nd one ready in case the first failed. In the fighterpilotpodcast the FA-18 Pilot said they always test the first tanker to have a min of one airborne pod working before they shoot planes for a mission. I guess they have a higher rate of failure compared to other parts.

Doesn't this one come with the module (VFC-13 40)?

The PG map combined with the F-14 will be awesome. One question: Will we be able to play the campaign in multiplayer as Pilot and RIO? That would be even better.
