It could even be a 5-10€ cost for the basic game , then all modules apart. While aircrafts are the "core business" all the things that are around them are what keep us flying and buy other modules. I think DCS needs a huge boost on assets,war enviroinment , weather , dynamic campaign, single missions, a more powerful Mission Editor, etc. , having all for free is not possible and you need constant revenue for constant improvement. I can totally see why the carrier is a separate module itself but I hope the land ATC isnt following the same path. While only a couple of modules can land on a carrier everyone can land on an airstrip.

Boh io aspetto sempre che almeno esca in EA prima di prenderlo. Speravo in qualche notizia in più al di là della data di pre-order.

vista così sembra solo il modello 3d del cockpit nel model viewer... l'MFD sinistro ha chiaramente una texture placeholder... Sappiamo tutti che al momento stanno lavorando su modello 3d e FM , per tutto il resto la vedo lunga... magari Venerdì nella newsletter ne sapremo di più

I'm pretty sure they are legally covered for using F18 and F16 data. I don't think ED moves buying manuals from eBay, much more like they move to have agreements with companies/govts. Considering the Boeing partnership I don't think Boeing itself would like to be being involved in ITAR things.

You are talking like spamming Aim54 was OK IRL. It was used only twice IIRC and usually kept for defend the fleet only. Try approach F18s or Mig23s with Sparrows... Total different game.

E non è stata nemmeno l'unica cosa interessante che ho visto durante il viaggio.. Tornando a DCS ho visto che hanno caricato le mie missioni singole fixate 2 settimane fà. Lo ho scoperto il giorno stesso che sono andato al museo... è stato il mio F14 day per eccellenza.

No lei fa il Mig-23. Ero al museo Wings over Miami appena fuori la città. Quello è un F-14D , precisamente l'ultimo che ha volato nel 2006. Mi ha raccontato il volontario che una volta atterrato a Opa Locka lo hanno sbudellato , tolto cockpit , avionica , motori e portato su un camion fino in quell'hangar. Le foto non rendono l'idea di quanto sia grande , è lungo un autobus e largo 2.... il carrello posteriore è alto quanto me ( 1,75 ) ... l'idea stessa che un bestione del genere possa atterrare in una striscia di cemento in mezzo al mare è pazzesca. Nello stesso museo c'era anche qualche vecchio trainer dello US Navy degli anni 50 ( non ricordo i nomi ) e uno Yak-52. I wish they could implement a good ATC system, dynamic weather and a good dynamic campaign. I think many of us want more aircrafts but too many times we ended up knowing avionics , precedures , etc.. but with nothing to do with them.

Sorry guys I'm in Florida for my honeymoon so I'm not responding quickly. Yes you can assume that ATC command is just “go to way point 1". Will investigate on that when I return next week.

:thumbup: Right , there is not a trigger zone on the "other" side but I can totally add it. For freqs there is the Mission Data Card in the kneeboard. i'll check tanker in every mission, I had to replace the KC130 with KC135 , maybe I miss something. You can always use RIO to do it for you. With the JESTER AI menu -> RADIO -> TUNE TAC -> TANKER There was a wrong flag , try use the last version. Anyway try to stay close to tanker < 1nm ( at least once )

1) you should adjust HUD brightness ... totally legit IRL. 2) this is strange , I mean , Red filter is less visible and should reflect less brightness like you said.

No serve una cosa più rilassante da sciogliere i muscoli...

Non è che esistano velocità ideali ( magari con alcuni jet tipo F18 , F14 e M2000 è meglio rimanere sopra i 300 nodi ) il problema è essere capaci di volare in formazione. Serve tanta pratica ma in generale i "segreti" sono questi: - calma ( facile a dirsi ) - trovare la velocità giusta prima di avvicinarsi - trim corretto - correzioni minime di manetta , stick ( magari le curve degli assi possono dare una mano ) - dimenticare l'HUD e volare guardando il tanker ( che in alcuni casi hanno le luci che ti permettono di sapere che correzioni fare ) Con il Tomcat il problema maggiore è che il probe è molto decentrato, in più la visuale è ridotta.
