  2. in dcs fidelity, you would be doing the work of two people. i suppose with active pause, that's doable. what will be funny is an uncompromising dcs level complexity sim for awac. and then your pilot body goes to the toilet.

  4. they can be turned on, but if you are not looking at them, they are not rendered and thus do not degrade framerate. same with the targeting displays like litening pod and shkval. when you turn on the panel display, a little lag kicks in because a piece(maybe a huge piece) of the the distant terrain is rendered.
  5. su-25t too easy. learn whole bird in 15 minutes. not close to bs2 or a10 fidelity.

  7. lol i spent 2 hours on training and was flying sorties with ease right after. it's perfectly fine. in fact it's very well done. don't expect to be top dog coming in from the likes of falcon 4. dcs is on a whole different level. the instructor sounds like obama.
  8. rule of thumb, if many chinese journalists have documented its workings during airshows and crawled inside its intake to take photos, then it may be public enough to do accurately and authentically.

  13. that's the dust trail. are you suggesting they change it to tan color? i agree. however you might want to frame your question differently otherwise people don't know what you're talking about. this is really a suggestion to change the color of dust trail effect of off road vehicles
  14. it will stay like that because it's a free sampler and a direct port from flaming cliffs. if they put actual dev time into it, you'll have to pay for it.

    DCS: EDGE

    bump/normal mapping existed long before dx11. any screenshots showing it doesn't necessarily indicate dx11.
  19. really hope that level of "pilot" simulation comes to all future and existing dcs products.

    A DCS Lobby

    is there a different kind of lobby system other than the one you described? seems kind of redundant. it's like asking that multiplayer include more than 1 player.
  21. it's like that because blackshark isn't really a dcs product, they intended there to be a blackshark 2. and that's the only one that is truly dcs compatible. on steam, only the a-10 has a working key that can be used under starforce.
  22. oh yes, i forgot. anti radar still need slew. otherwise cannot discriminate between target.
  23. sead weapons are easiest weapons. they are fire and forget weapons, have long ranges and lock automatically without any slewing or lasing.
  24. dear ed, i wonder if we can enter a contract with you to build a working dcs level fidelity cockpit, and program the flight model using your tools, for an existing vehicle, such as the mi-28. best regards
  25. he came out of cockpit intact. that means new ejection and walking model.
