  1. Turn the LT switch off on the right handgrip, it's the Laser Spot Tracker, it's most likely in A mode for AUTO switch it to O for OFF
  2. You need to hop in the front seat and turn the LT switch to O (OFF). George likes leaving the LST switch in the A (AUTO) mode. It's on the right handgrip
  3. On the right handgrip make sure the LT switch is set to O for off. That's the LST doing a 3-bar scan for laser spots. George likes to start with it in the A (AUTO) position right now, it's a bug the devs are aware of it.

On a cold start George likes starting with the LST/LT (Laser Tracker) switch to A (AUTO), you can hop in the front seat and turn it to O (OFF), it's on the right handgrip. 3. The laser will not fire when the LT switch is in AUTO mode, turning it off will allow you to fire the laser. 4. You can't select RF missiles as the pilot, only the CPG can until we get the FCR Also the zigzag patterns you're seeing is the Laser Spot Tracker doing a 3 bar scan for any laser spots.

  6. George has the LST switch in auto mode, it's a bug and it's already been reported, just hop into the front seat with 2 and switch it from A (AUTO) to O (OFF). You can find the switch on the right handgrip.

  8. That definitely sounds like a bug then. He only needs to lase once unless you command him to deWAS
  9. He should be turning the laser on to get target data for the missile and then turning it back off again before he fires, if that's what he's doing then that's normal. To my knowledge, George's inaccuracies have already been reported.
  10. That's normal for the Lima, it's using Doppler Beam Sharpening to get a better lock on the target and reduce ground clutter from interfering with the target.

  12. After last missile is fired, missile constraint box is "stuck" at a fixed point on the TADS, it should still move with the TADS in relation to the front of the aircraft.   13. Did you make sure you didn't have him on engage at will? If the George menu text is green that means he'll engage without consent.

  15. Sorry if I seem like I'm splitting hairs, I'm not really.. I just want LST to be simulated properly. After seeing how IAT behaves I was hoping LST would perform more to specs.. it seems like it just pops onto the target which seems to me like corner cutting.

  17. The second clip the TADS is stepped in one FOV, you can tell by the FOV marks. Also Wags on the second shot was stepped in one FOV as well.. so it is an apt comparison...
  18. After watching the LST video today, I noticed the TADS slew behavior is a little off, it acquired the laser spot much faster than the real thing.   19. That's very likely the case. The only way to work around the problem is a VPN, there might be free VPN services you or him could try but the stability of the connection won't be as good as a paid service. Other than that you could try to find a server that sorta meets in the middle so to speak but the best way to solve the problem is with a VPN unfortunately.
  20. How far away is your friend in relation to you? I have a friend in Germany and we have a really hard time flying without major desync and disconnects with me being from the US. He got a VPN which helps but the further away your crew member is the worse it'll be.

  22. I was flying as the pilot with a human CPG yesterday and he was getting missile warning indications while I only get the flashing directional light on the CMWS.
