Yea but I don't need sarcasm about it. If people want to fly it on Normandy great. But there's also nothing wrong with me pointing out that in regards to it being used in the Pacific there is no appropriate map in development or discussed. So far we have Marianas confirmed and iwo jima as shown in development but not yet confirmed.

They're supposedly changing that for thay sake of including submarine warfare.

I get it if it's not what your into but some people (like me) are ecstatic about a pacific map and WWII possibilities. Even if it will be a long time until it gets filled out, you have to start somewhere. Also I think this map will be great for cold war era stuff. Even if the land mass is tiny I think the jungle will be great for helicopters. ED certainly has been emphasizing the huey in its promos for it. And yes I know it would all be "what if" I still think it will see some good use.

Well we'll need an appropriate map like PNG/Solomons first. Or at least in development.

Not trying to be thick but did lighting fixes make it in this patch? Life goes on if it didn't but I thought that was the reason for 2.5.5 rollover to 2.5.6?

The D-9 has it but other modules like the P-51 should have it as well. The D-9 can just set a timer from the cockpit where in other planes it would be set by ground crew before loading.

So I'm making a cas mission and I want to send a message saying to repeat the mission if the bomb misses so I set up a trigger zone and set bomb in zone and group alive send message. The problem I'm running into though is the message gets sent as soon as the bomb is flying inside the zone and not when it impacts. So is there any way to record a miss and have it check if the group is alive? I have the message working fine for when the group is dead but it comes after being told the bomb missed before it even struck. Also I know though is probably a simple answer but after the group is dead I want some units to start moving. How do I do that? I know nothing about coding and scripts so I'm trying to do it all with the trigger functions.

Judging by Mr. Grey's response to a Reddit post they do listen to whining. Which is smart. Within that whining is a passion for this product and some well founded grievances. Now I hope ED doesn't get discouraged, demoralized, or personally insulted or hurt by the whining. But it is a resource for them. Only listening to the positive results in an echo chamber and a feedback loop that only reinforces their perspective which may not always be the best.

That Toxic complaining seems to be the only thing that gets results as much as I hate to admit it.

I think Angola would be a great option. We're getting the mig-23 amd Mirage F-1. It would also be incentive for some to make the Buccaneer that so many want(although I don't have much feelings one way or the other for it). Sadly though the Straight of Hormuz map getting renamed Persian Gulf probably says a a lot about this map's prospect though.

I don't think an aircraft being outclassed should be points against it. Life isn't fair. I'm really more interested in the carrier aircraft but I wouldn't say no to a P-40.

I'm mpre interested in carrier aircraft personally but its hard to argue with a duel theater fighter. It's also one of the more fun plane in that other sim.

I rage quit this campaign in mission one... After spending alot of time trying to figure out how I got the coordinates wrong to change waypoint 3 I gave up and googled it and found out the trigger is broken. So I spent a good bit of time fixing that which wasn't easy since the trigger names are in Chinese. After getting it to work finishing the demonstration flight and getting retasked to intercept enemy planes I jettisoned the remaining A/G weapons. In the brief it says you do not need permission to jettison stores. I got a bombs away and unauthorized weapons release and mission failure...

I'm definitely for more older cold war aircraft. The more computerized the plane is the less interesting it is.

I'd actually really like a T-45 Goshawk. Too bad Razbam killed their Buckeye project.

From the judgement of my mark 1 eyeball, the textures have improved and they plan to improve them further. That being said maybe I just got used to it?
