I ran into this problem and couldn't figure it out for the life of me. It ended up being that I was bumping the button for the dogfight modes on my hotas. Return the radar to the normal search mode fixed it. I've also had it where I could drop mk-82s but not gbu-12s. Haven't figured that one out yet.

Is that an insult? I'm not sure exactly when they were used up or when this version of the A-10C came online but considering it Has JHMCS and APKWS Im guessing post Gulf War 1 and I believe that's wheen the 122s were used up. They likely didn't coexist and if they did it wasn't for long.

They'd be nice to have but considering the entire supply was exhausted it doesn't seem reasonable to put them on.

I'm happy with how ED is handling the upgrade and will most likely purchase it. Do we know an exhaustive list of features though? So far I know about APKWS, LJDAM, LMAV, HMCS, tisl deletion, uodated flight model and hotas commands. Anything I'm missing?

Thanks for the update! Progress has been a little slower than ideal but you still have plenty of goodwill from me. I hope you and your team continue to develop for DCS once your current projects are complete.

Would love to have it but doubt anyone will make an interceptor from that era. We have to hope for new Dev that will do it as a passion project.

Our mig 21 never carried a few of its weapons. The typhoon is going to be a mix of variants. There's a few other aircraft with some fudging going on. GBU-12s are a very reasonable battlefield modification you could see to the 101 and it will help it pair nicely with the Kiowa when that releases. I hope to see them on it eventually.

I'm pretty sure you cant answer this but I'm going to ask amyway... Why start a seperate developer from Aviodev when it's still in operation? Anyway I love the 101 and look forward to the F-1. I look forward to anything else you have in the works.

These announcements are just getting rediculous. Razbam would need an army of coders to get their pipeline out in the next decade. There's plenty of stuff I'd like to buy, but with the Harrier and Mirage still needing work it just makes me not care. Razbams main buisness and priority is government contracts, how about finishing the Harrier? How am I supposed to trust a F-15 when the less advanced Harrier still isn't 100%? Because they don't care if I trust it. They're going to keep pumping out modules and rely on people being fanboys/girls of that airframe to sell it. I'm over it.

You could be right. But my bet is a trainer is using commercial off the shelf equipment.

I'm not an avionics tech but Ive done a decent bit if flying and these systems are all designed to be interchangeable. I know you could tie the come radios into the audio panel although you'd probably have to modify for a new selector position. But if a 430 can talk to a VOR/ILS from a 1960s cessna it should be able to talk to the C-101. Of course I could be wrong. Would it be worth calling and talking to an Avionics guy from a C-101 squadron? To me the value if the 430 is instrument approaches and procedures, not the pink line. I was upset about the misleading marketing for the 430 and the L-39 and after discussing it with Bignewy he said they'd adjust the wording but not integrate it. I appreciate though Vibora that you have been direct about it and I understand your position. I still love the 101 without a gps.

I was wondering if the NS-430 will be able to interact with the radio and navigation systems in the C-101? Can we do a GPS approach and use the CDI? Will the Nav radio on the 430 work woth it as well? Or is it like the L-39 and only gives you a pink line to follow? I know the 430 isn't your project but I was hoping you would have some insight from helping integrate it.

Also I agree we need more second rate aircraft in DCS instead of only the cream of the crop. But the Avenger is just awesome and I've slowly been building an R/C Dauntless from scratch. Not trying to take anything away from the Helldiver.

Not my first choice... Would rather see an Avenger or Dauntless, but would I buy this? Absolutely. I could get behind a hell diver.

From my understanding(correct me if I'm wrong) The C-101 and F-1 stagnated for awhile because they lost their coder or had limited access to a coder. Awhile ago they got a new one and work really picked up to a nice pace on the 101 which they rightly focused on finishing before committing most of their assets to the F-1. They are almost there though on the 101 and in the comments of one of their recent Facebook posts they said work is progressing on the F-1. It may still be some time before we see anything though because I think DCS 1.5 was still a thing last they were working on it so I'm sure there is a lot of updating to do on the work already done.

The switch to subscription need to happen... Right now ED is just getting further and further into coding debt which equals real debt when they have to pay someone to fix it.

Buy from ED and help support development. Steam is there to introduce the game to people who wouldn't have heard of it otherwise. There is no advantage from steam...

+1. yea not every start is like this but SOME smoke at least would be great. And since every time we take a new plane its fresh from the factory I would expect it to be smokey.

Just wanted to say thanks because you all pulled of three good releases in a row. Sometimes there's problems and things don't go as well as they should (looking at you F-16) and I don't hesitate to criticize. But the Super Carrier, Channel Map, and P-47 were all quality modules that I recommend to the people in my squad. Good work:thumbup:
