They'd probably mention such a thing in one of the answers: https://flyandwire.com/2025/09/04/mig-29s-spo-15-rwr-qa-with-eagle-dynamics/

What more important thing a pilot during BVR interception would have than watching TID?
-
If you want to perform true CC where you go straight to the cat after traping you can disable the deck directors in SC special options or just use CVN-74.
-
In the mission planner, before starting the mission, you can see your starting position and where it is located on the airbase. When you contact ATC they'll tell you active RWY number so you know which way to go (ex. RWY 09 means you should taxi opposite direction 270 to the end and take off heading 90). In the kneeboard you can find and reference the airbase chart for taxiing around.
-
If you mean save during the mission then no, it's not possible. Campaign progress is only saved after you quit the mission after successfully completing it and click "End mission" in the debriefing, so the next time you run the campaign, you start with the next mission.

I support I'd be great to also made NVGs fixed fov, which is dependent on the device. Last time I checked you could zoom in/out and the NVG cirlce stayed fixed relative to the screen.

Anytime, Baby! - F-14 Docu-Campaign Announcement

You want to spoil that one for me too? -
OK, finally got it. @Bowie was indeed onto something In my previous test I didn't use wind and the carrier did not move - logically, to test just the cat shot speed. It didn't show anything unusual. All cats same speed. But after taking another shot (sic!) with Bowie's settings: carrier speed 18kts into the 15kts wind I was able to confirm the bug on unmodded DCS. @Silhou Please check the tracks. Cat #3 on CV-59 is indeed slower about 10kts in these conditions - it makes fully loaded S-3B tanker or F-14A AI sink just a bit - but they can manage fine. CV-59 cat#3 F-14A.miz CV-59 cat#3 S-3B tanker.trk

None of these tracks work because they all require A-4 mod. Not yet a success.
-
Just checked. This command is simply not available for other devices than mouse. You can see different shade of the input fields.

All is based on either manual or some other RL info but sounds to me like this RWR is too "nerfed" for the OP. I suggest to wait and test before judging.
-
Are you accusing ED of some bias? Or you're afraid of too much realism?
-
No, they go max 100% RPM. AB does not mean you spin the engines any faster. You just burn more fuel after the turbine. For AB indication you have dedicated warning lights.

This is not a wingtip vortex simulator. We don't even have humidity modeled yet.
-
Yes, but the devs will tell you: WIP images.

When in DCS and controls setup you just click OK and it's saved. Unless you also use external software for the controls - I won't help you with that. This video should help you understand how to setup software detent: This can help you calculate it faster: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3315617/ For the zoom - find the camera view zoom in the axis settings and assign it for the throttle device. Now move the rotary fully one side and back - it should be detected - now just click ok and you're done. If the aircraft setting doesn't work check the UI or General category instead of Su-27.

Showing off independent mirror views and control: Basically the wish's been granted
-
Doesn't mean you can achieve it in combat situation. It may very well be design limit.
-
Not true - I tested F-14A, B and Hornet. No issue. So I tested also loaded S-3B. Still no issue. Sorry, no bug here.
-
Put 4 Tomcats or Hornets on cats. Show their launch speeds. Save a track and upload. You can do it. It's not a rocket science. Unless they end up in the drink this probably won't be high priority, mind you.
-
Right, sorry @PLUTON for the confusion.
-
Because that's what it is.

Check DCS options > system: color theme. Or those VD apps.
