We can't or at least we don't know yet about it. HB is planning to release early F-14A in one of the next updates and I'm guessing they messed with it somehow.

This is long known bug for some VR users. Only workaround is to restart the mission (start a mission, restart, you're good to go).
-
It's when you're speeding at 260 on the tarmac and you realised you're in the G and it was in knots
-
PD is also scaling but on the DCS side and it has the same impact - you may just not notice the performance changes.
-
We can just tell you how it works atm. Here're some instructions: Basically you add another chuck of code in curly brackets, including the mission name (whatever you want it to show) and the exact mission file name. Of course you have to own the aircraft, map and mods used in the mission. Otherwise it's a wish - you can make one here: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/207-dcs-core-wish-list/ Ah, yes, right.

Fair enough and good it's not something with the base precision/feel

Ok, you believe in torches and pitchforks, I believe in more proper bug reports, neither seem to change ED's priorities. Your mission was far from simple when you started to involve troop embarking, your own detailed factory setup and additional mods and scripts (otherwise what was Moose for?). When I have free 3 hours I just play next DLC campaign mission. If not I tend to use Instant action more or just fly around or test something I read on the forum earlier. Yeah, I could do a simple mission and fly it but it'd be too simple for me and predictable. So either put a lot of work into own mission or use one already created. Maybe you expect of DCS something it's not if you think mods are required.

Could work as a modern study for NATO vs Russia/Belarus including Suwałki Gap. Or another WW2 map great for either '39 or '45.

Built in missions come with the modules and are in the installation folder \mods\aircraft\[aircraft_name]\missions\ (or \tech\ for CA and SC) Paid DLC campaigns are in the installation folder \mods\campaigns\[campaign_anme]\ Your own missions (or ones you download from DCS user files) are meant to be saved to \saved games\dcs\missions\ because that's where "My missions" shorcut will search for them but frankly you can put them anywhere you want - you just have to find them when opening the mission from the ME. If you want to have user created missions added nicely to your aircraft missions same way as those built-in you'll have to mess with respective .lua files in the subfolders - otherwise they will not be visible there, even when the .miz file is already right there.

It changed drastically when DCS went multi-threading way a few years ago and wasn't really true even then in single-thread version. Frequency is not the only parameter deciding on CPU performance. Different cache sizes and types, CPU architecture and tech can all make big difference. As mentioned above x3d series is especially good for DCS and it's common for new budget CPUs to surpass a few years old top shelf ones.

You could have asked here for help: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/79-mission-editor/ or on ED DCS discord: https://discordbotlist.com/servers/eagledynamics If you don't want to bother with own creations here you can find some ready to use missions: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/ https://forum.dcs.world/forum/81-user-created-missions-general/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/campaigns/ If you believe you have found a bug, report here: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/815-mission-editor-bugs/ https://forum.dcs.world/forum/423-ai-bugs-non-combined-arms/ If you already know this but wanted to rant instead, stop whining, nobody forces you to play or create missions. Btw: mods are not officially supported, so don't try to blame it on DCS.

Would be helpful to include your hw spec, at least cpu and gpu. Also why would you mess with scaling in two places? Leave one at 1.0x and test with the other. I have not yet tried to change my encode res but use other settings currently - check this thread: As for the encoding value and its meaning: https://vrchase.com/encode-resolution-width/

Link? Was it for DCS or other sim?
-
Thanks for your opinion. Why do you want to upgrade? Is it lacking in precision?
-
The E-shop informs you have bought the module but it still allows you to buy again.
-
The screenshot shows you have bought the MiG-29A full fidelity module. Now just wait for the release and update DCS
-
It says "pre-purchase". The full fidelity MiG-29 is not yet available. Release is planned for September. Current MiG-29 FC price: $7.49 FC2024 pack: $59.99 So I don't understand the question.
-
You might be overestimating the DCS module SDK as a mean to know the insides of the whole software allowing you to create a new simulator. Even assuming you have a dedicated talented team of coders, which already know how to program a game, it's still years of work from scratch, even if they buy large chunk of it instead of writing their own, ex. gfx engine.
-
It prevents the enemy radars from locking on you until the burn through range. Then you want to turn it off, because some missiles can home onto your ECM signal.
-
Yeah, I did remember it wrong, these do not lit up player cockpit in F1 pilot view but they are definitely not mere textures - they do lit up the runway, grass, the aircraft itself including the cockpit in external view - that makes them pretty much dynamic lighting.
-
Oh, and if you survive, you are the CSAR pilot who needs CSAR, good time I'm proponent of small first steps. If things are well received devs can improve on it if time allows. First steps are minimalistic: 1. add raft for pilots that had one equipped IRL (or add ME option) 2. add some way of location (radio beacon, signal flare, light, sea dye marker) and contact (radio with option to call for CSAR) 3. make ejected pilot as object visible for others (MP too) and AI, vulnerable to fire and explosions 4. add AI task CSAR to fly, land and pickup you or other AI pilot 5. add faster movement option for downed pilots Now get to da choppa!
