You can slew two separate ways. You Sensor designated Point of Interest (SPI) or to Steerpoint (Which is your ACTIVE waypoint or markpoint). China Hat forward long with that sensor as SOI (in your case TGP) will slew all other sensors, HUD, Maverick, etc.. to the current SPI set by your active sensor. Make sure to set your SPI on the TGP before you slew with TMS up long..

How are you placing it? Mission Editor? Waypoint? Markpoint? What position is the Steer Point knob in versus the type of IP you are setting?

Just saying.. Would be a great $10 add-on.

...but but... the 210 is digital and then there's the thing it does where it does the thing with the other digital thing in the other digital aircraft which is a thing for the TAD..

missing info Targeting Pod "Wanders off"
A10Yoda replied to Morat's topic in DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer
The TGP works close enough to accurate, besides the actual imagery, in my opinion. Real TGP have attitudes just like any other equipment. That said, real training with someone that understands Gimbal and point track framing will help you maintain constant track. Problem is, when it doesn't work the way you imagine it working and how it is suppose to work come to a head for a simulator. Start using Ground Stabilize as an option to help the TGP from wondering when it loses point track, start setting markpoints to quickly un-gimbaling the TGP, etc.. Training can fix all problems. Lightning pods in real life are temperamental in certain temperatures and other settings and are susceptible to failure. Have backup plans.. -
Is the A-10C II module worth to get??
A10Yoda replied to scommander2's topic in DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer
The A10's role is one that requires more knowledge of everyone's elses role. Hopefully there will be some upcoming improvements to further assist with this but as it stands now, still can multi-task in almost any threat environment. 1. AFAC or FAC(A) 2. CSAR 3. CAS (Hopefully with upcoming changes in infantry and damage modeling there will be significant improvement here) There are some good helicopter mods out there for downed Pilots and hopefully someone helps model rewarding CSAR mission scripts for other CSAR aircraft. -
It is quite possible it was set to not to be able to be destroyed. Some servers will have targets set to invincible either on purpose, or by accident.. That said, DCS has committed themselves to try and further fix damage models in the future and it is a known issue..

In DCS Controls, Unbind the Mic switches for the radios highlighting the the bind and push Clear to unbind it. You can rebind them to number keys on keyboard 1 2 and 3 keys.. VHF UHF and FM.

Depends on the Hawgs weight at release, dive angle, speed etc.. 2000 lbs of 40k isn't significant. You feel a light thud if you're paying attention but more often than not, you don't hear it or notice it. Missles can be startling because of the slight delay but you get used to it. ^ this.. although the Original SCOR was for right eye only but that was due to the canter in the mounting brackets. I believe this was accurate for comfort and for 3rd party video capturing Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

Anyone know if there is a way to set multiple Flight Plans for the A10 with CombatFlite? I am trying to make a multiplayer AFAC role where I have each Flight in the Campaign loaded into the Hog with their respective Flight Plan. Example: Alpha Flight FP2 Bravo Flight FP3 The only way, I know how to do this now, is to set Waypoints for the AFAC A10 in the mission editor for all the different Flights and then manually assigning those Waypoint # blocks manually to Flight Plans I create once I am in. Which is time consuming, but still not horrible. Just looking for a way to streamline this a bit.

I am not sure how that will work as we are trying to bring in opposition in a way that fits into the timeline we are flying. You are more than welcome to head to our site and checkout us and our discord. May even be able to sit down and talk out some stuff in regards to those other assets.

Has anyone found a way to decorate the pilot helmet yet? I have yet to see a .lua with one. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

Come join the 16th Fighter Squadron and fly Red Air against one of the best Joint Task Forces on DCS. JTF13, recruited a multitude of new F-16, F-18, and F-14 pilots. Now we need you to come fly the JF17 as Redfor. Join us by signing up at: https://forums.jtf13.com/ Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

Having an issue getting my Infantry units to engage airborne targets at night. I have placed AI Huey's a couple hundred feet AGL over spawning Infantry and the infantry will not engage. Even adding Red alert status, engage air weapons, weapons free. Nothing seems to work to get them to engage and fire at the Huey's.

We need more JF17 applicants. Possibility for promotions and more responsibility! Yeah-for-Responsibility! With as many new F14 pilots and F18 pilots JTF13 has taken in, we need more Red Air pilots for our campaigns. Come Join the Pakistan Black Panthers and JTF-13

How many of those you see flying around with smoke pods? None.. because those don't have hardpoint pylons on them. Kinda my point.. You either make it a trainer or you don't
-
I have flown the T38, L39C both in the Air Force. Both have pylons powered to place training munitions. My point is, if it is a trainer, then it should have a trainer loadout. It comes with 2 fictional skins. Aviojet, the company that made it and a fake US Air Force. If it is a Spanish Air Force trainer, I guarantee you they have a livery for it and they would have CAP 9's and a GAU pod they would place on it.. Colored Smoke is an Air Show CIVILIAN model and the TACAN would be REMOVED
-
I have never known any trainer that only equips "smoke pods"
