Noticing also a sound file for the pilot "drink water" is there another Easter Egg ? or something to come ?
-
I really hope the GPU-5/a Is planned for this.

Why are they not listed on the ED Forums under a third party dev to have their own forum ?

Ah excellent, have read about this but now I actually see it thanks. Exactly what it is in the video. Thanks

Greetings. New DCS install but same old controls / HOTAS. Noticing now in the JF that the control stick is rapidly moving back to center and back to the defined input that's given with the X/Y of my stick on the HOTAS. I verified the inputs (CTL+ENTER) to show joystick position as DCS is receiving it. I have not had this on any other module, also checked raw data on windows and there is no noise like this on the x.y of the joystick I feel silly asking this but is there a known issue with control inputs with the JF ? Looks like the Flight control computer is fighting it, looked also there is nothing double bound to the same pitch / Roll on the module. Will grab a .trk if needed Thanks Shrike

Greetings. I apologize as I am sure as many others know little about the functionality / capability of the JF prior to DCS but have grown to enjoy this aircraft more and more as well as the interpretation of the systems that Deka has done. Including lots of the little things that create for an all around more enjoyable experience. I was curious or maybe Dev or some resident sme's could shed some light on some questions - Datalink abilities - is there more content or data planned for the HSD page ? - Will be be able to Select SOI on the HSD and utilize a cursor like the A-10 TAD ? - will we or planned be able to share information to other JF-17's on network like SPI ? Coordinates ? AG designations - any further plans on LInk-17 or TDL interfacing with what ED has on the Link16 coding side ? Just curious - Checklist page - Any further work being done ? Landing checklists / etc seems right now they are all mirrored or derivatives of the startup checklist. curious of being expanded on -HMD - I know this has been talked about several times over. Is it just a pipedream at this point ? I know unrealistic but possibly adding it with the options menu to turn on or off with servers or ME like the probe ? Would really be a big stick for the JF as it is in BlockIII Bombing modes - Will TOSS / LOFT be further expanded on ? is what we have now the finalized state of the bombing modes the JF has available ? WMD7-TPOD, - Are we going to get a Northing arrow indicator symbols as demonstrated in the harrier / A-10 and other aircraft ? Any more indicators on this area ? Just some questions as I always wonder about with the JF and was unsure about some of its capability and what else we might have that will add to the module as extras like the Music player etc. Thanks again.

+1 I’m sure community members could help on some banner artwork or graphics -
Has Deka decided yet? What's their next module?
Shrike88 replied to J-20's topic in Deka Ironwork Simulations
Wish it was the Z-10 Helo, since we will never have an apache anytime soon. Deka your our only hope ! Z-10 would be the closest and knowing it would be developed well and a great module from Deka -

I feel like this thread is mislabeled and in the wrong spot -
wow this is awesome. Excellent find @glacier. Just add it to the long list of all the little things that make this module awesome.

Not sure about per razbams instructions but her the TACMAN, it still seems buggy. and have not had consistent results. Especially with it continuously calculating the speed caret. TOT / TTT still not able to be displayed on HUD
-
I am hopeful this will augment the ranges as well and we will see a slightly increased useful distance
-
Thanks for the response elmo . I will provide the work, in creating a track and compiling another bug report for this again. However I have done years ago in the past I believe. Just do us the favor before writing off the reports and familiarize yourself with TACMAN - 000 Vol.1 = 1.14.5.4.5 INTERVAL CONTROL There it clearly states that Ripple sequencing and stick length spacing is set as FEET when in Auto and CIP mods, However when in DSL mod its milliseconds Maybe this is where the issue was when it was implemented. But I clearly remember issues with variance when differentiating between MK-82 LD and HD I just ask if i crate a test map and demonstrate it and provide the time for the track you please pass it up the chain to Zeus and this gets fixed. Thanks again for your time. I appreciate the new zeal in creating a better and more responsive forum.

Not modeled yet or correctly modeled. Will have to compile a .trk to show in a test range as I’m sure I’ll get tagged for no track. However there have been countless issues over the years with 1.ripple interval spacing is not correctly modeled, should be interval based on set impact distance, right now Seems it’s modeled for time 2. Ripple interval with ARBS does not sequence the drop to place the designated target with DMT in the middle of the drop sequence. Current model is incorrect as the drop STARTS at the designated target 3. LOFT/TOSS modes not implemented

Have seen this issue the other night. Have not seen this before Seems bomb will latch onto the laser and loose track and wander off last 2 seconds before impact

Would love a fuel consumption and planning page, similar to an FPAS
-
Recycle ECS off then back to on will stop Defog cycle
-
Lol now that’s funny. Anyone having issues with the new Mavs locking ?
-
@joey were you considering any other statics being redone ?
-
Thanks
-
So we are not getting LOFT / TOSS settings for ARBS ? this is confirmed ?

Thanks for reaching out to the community Elmo, before anything is done. Good approach for handling it. First of all I believe the general consensus is not to remove anything. I can see archiving previous posts, however the problem with that is also by archiving and closing threads we are not allowed to bumb or move to the top festering issues that one might not have known about that has been open for years, and can just be bumped to the top. C BugTracker from BK is a great tool as well. I do understand your want an feeling to want to clean up and organize. Also the issue with remote bug tracker are the need to actually keep up with it. We have seen this before with Razbams created bug tracker two years ago (Which is now defunct) . Certain issues and items were never correlated over to the tracker from the official forum after being acknowledged, not reported at all or just left to collect dust either in the forums or on the bug tracker. Coupled with this and added to mention the tracker was never updated. Somewhat similar to what we have seen with spotty changelogs since the modules inception. To sum it up whatever you end up doing just be aware we have seen lots of methods and systems however reinventing the wheel so to speak will only work if its actually kept up. You need to find a system that works for YOU as you have to keep up with it and manage it. Just make sure you clearly outline and adhere to what is asked of us. We will help out as best as we can, but keeping data as well as logs and timestamps is priceless .

Welcome Elmo, appreciate you taking the time to volunteer and good luck unraveling the last three years of issues and unanswered or abandoned posts that will come up. Hopefully your new strategy doesn’t involve monthly update videos as we have seen that tried before and slowly burned out after a few months. I’m sure contrary to what you might have heard, the community will be more than willing to help you as we all want to see the harrier given the effort and work she deserves and needs Shrike
