  1. Would like to see this at least addressed. Still anyone shedding light on this? Especially for miltiplayer. ED Dev's? Anyone?
  2. In multi-player when next to other F18 client aircraft when engines are shut down and APU off on both aircraft, the reciprocal aircraft are producing engine sounds even when shut down. Vise versa for the other client as well.
  3. I'll have to refer back to the Natops will Check back after work. I vaguely remeber there is a safety possibly finger lifts to prevent accidental AB engagement on the ground. There is an air vs ground logic for the lifts and AB / mil power fences. Edit. Natops, 2.1.1.7.2 "On the ground, an afterburner lockout system helps......." Weight on wheels, launch bar extended and or Hook down, the afterburner lockout extends and the finger lifts must be raised or a force of 32lbs must be applied before the throttles can be moved to max" Now I'm not sure how that's modeled in the game. Might be an issue if you bound the lifts to a two way switch on or off.
  4. Tried updating then repairing then installing the module. Same issue. Not surprised
  5. Havent had the gear collapsing however the bugs with aircraft movement on the Deck of a moving carrier/tarawa, as well as trying to taxi are back from the initial release. Rearming now doesn't work as its always sensing the aircraft as slightly moving.
  6. Tested some other things like the DMT Axis(still not fixed snapping to FPV after any movement) Forgot to check the WCP. I am hopeful interval spacing is implemented now, sad if your correct that its still not functional and not able to ripple. Will test this evening and report back.
  7. its now April, Still no Runway Edge Lights in OpenBeta 2.5. Night Operations are impossible without NVG. Are we going to have runway lighting ever ? Is this being addressed ? Thanks
  8. +1 Gau-12 is now very very muffled when firing, as well as external. Please address Razbam.
  9. So is the bug / incomplete list still substantial as on the first page?, browsing through the pages to catch up. I see that the M2000 is no longer listed as EA. I know there are still missing features on the INS. Just curious if they are assuming it's marked "completed" on the module store page.
  10. When the systems are implemented, the actual aircraft can slew the pod to WP, or prevent determined Sensor Points of Interest. somewhat similar to the A10c
  11. I was noticing this the other day. Wasn't sure what the deal was but I'm glad to see someone else replicating this issue. Prior to 2.5 around 7-7.5nm for a lock using the tpod/Mac combo. Now less than 5nm. Not sure if it's a shading or contrast issue effecting the lock or how it's coded. Team Raz please look into this. .
  12. Excellent, thanks for the update much appreciated. First class work as always. So much for accurate INS unguided loft boming of structures lol. Are we going to be able to have JDAM's available to us with the B ?
  13. I have commented and brought this up in the past about the abysmal damage model of the MK-20 as well as the incorrect burst diameter change regardless of release height and burst altitude. The M-20 weapon system is created by ED for the DCS engine, and is a product of their model. The AV-8 as well as other aircraft can just equip this model that they created. Zeus responded to me that it is broken and that he cannot augment or tweak this as it has to be done by ED themselves. I have posted a bug report for ED and have had no response, however Zeus did get back to me. Basically the ball is in the Russian court now so to speak to fix and adjust. Hope this helps Kaned Dragon
  14. Well said Snoopy thank you. ED should run as a way to protect the brand for 3rd Dev's. At least a letter or notification. I have been spoiled as of late from the constant ED emails and updates and actually enjoy them more than I have thought I initially would. Agree on radios / DMT bound to axis (without TPOD). Weapon Release spacing. Items that already core in the game engine and not new. Cheers
  15. Agree, this should be low hanging fruit as well as making the DMT bound by Axis controls that work, (Without the TPOD). Fingers crossed for next update. * Nice MEME buckeye, lol
  16. Wow, Thanks guys for the update. HB continues to impress and set the bar very high. Im sure I can speak for the community in thanking you for the update and notifications, and we will be looking forward to the release and your continued development. Very first class stuff. thanks
  17. Was there a link to the paint kit files? Curious of the status on this thread. Didn't see anything included in the file structure.
  18. Have you ever updated or changed the sound of the unique engine spool down ? curious of your progress ? Thanks
  19. Thanks for the update Smiley and cooresponding thread. Understand all and checked Natops and all check out as stated, however can't find Maneuver Tone Logic. Is that just aural queues for flight envelope limitations? Anyone shed light on that please briefly and I'll search more Thanks
  20. Thanks for your contribution to the thread Shadowstep, However you obviously did not read my original post at the beginning of the month. I stated that I posted on here since I was not getting any responses to a previous post on the main Thread, and this was a much more active group. furthermore a simple YES they do work was not the answer I was seeking as all of my tests proved otherwise. I have found the lua coding for them on the FC aircraft since my original post. This indicated that there is a threat detection reduction by fractions numerical ranges, however in my in-game tests I was not able to replicate. Besides the simple YES can you shed some light on this ? engagements ranges and missile accuracy in game have not been "noticeably" affected for me albeit the pod being activated on the harrier. I will post with the community once I have transcribed my information
  21. Greetings. Just curious for future reference. Couldn't find if this was referred to previously and there is no information on the thread about DCS _updater. Is there a way to download our patches and updates to a separate drive, then patch/update to our install directory from that separate drive instead of using the main install directory with dcs updater ? Thanks Shrike
