The memory leak issue seems to be getting worst and worst with every update. I cannot join any server now. Both VRAM and RAM get overloaded

Its very easy. Save profiles for keyboard, Joystick and keyboard and load them in 2.5.

No hard feelings but I think in today's Era where internet is almost free, we should not complaint about the size of the updates. The thing to consider is that updates should keep rolling in. The memory leak issue should be solved I dont care if it takes TBs of download.

Actually its not only the price factor but also the harware required to run VR in higher resolutions. A good system with 1080ti would run it in medium or low settings to get good fps.

Selecting full screen option in the DCS system settings is a better alternative. U dont have to press alt enter all the time

I do not agree with what u said about grapphic engine. The quality of graphics and the size of the maps are like never seen in any other title. Even the latest AAA games does not come near when it comes to the beauty of graphics. DCS has very large and deep field in view. However, I do not understand why they are unable to solve the MP issue. When single player can run, so can multiplayer like many other titles whereby the performance remains the same in SP and MP. The load on resources should be on individual client respectively rather than being on the entire network.

As far as I understand, One Aircraft cannot do much against sams when it comes to jamming. Jamming is a very complicated operation in which various aircrafts carrying ECMs go into hostile area from various directions in order to effectively confuse the Radar. Those Aircrafts are dedicated for this operation and are specially equipped with high powered equipement. I am not sure how effective a normal fighter can be agianst Sams. I mean many modern fighter jets have been shot down by Sams. Why dint they deloy ECMs if they were so effective?

I even borrowed and tried a 11 GB Graphic card from a friend in hopes of joining an online server. But No. Even 11GB VRAM is not enough. Now what are we supposed to do ? Its time to invent our own cards with 100 GB VRAM.

OK yday I got a small DCS update and after that the problem has been resolved. Thanks alot.

Both VRAM and RAM are being over whelmed resulting in game crash. knowing that ED was working on it, was a hope that sooner or later it will get fixed. But now after they have said that these bugs have been addressed, does that mean that it will remain like this ?

Increase your visible range. I will recude ur fps a little but give you more view range.

Ok I will give it a try. Thanks for the advice. What if I save the profiles for keyboard and mouse and then reload the profiles once new folder is created. Will it work that way ?

DCS is a huge Simulator. Excellent textures and graphics. U know even in the AAA titles like ghost recon, when you fly in chopper and view the terrain from height, it is no where near the feeling that DCS gives you. So I think DCS has the right to occupy space and other resources. However the last update has messed up controls.

I think AIs are very easy to kill. Even in excellent skills. They shd be more difficult.

Hi..My controller has stopped working in game after the latest update. Windows is picking up the controller every control and button working in controller properties. Even in game 'system settings' the controls are binding. However, when I load the game nothing works except a few buttons. No left, right, up, down, throttle etc. Nothing works. I read the update log ten times to find MP fix for memory leak but could not find it. That should g=have been the priority.

I highly recomment brining back object size. Game is not playable in 4k resolution. everything becomes small

Have patience my friend. Its a beta version. Dont expect everything to work perfectly. However no memory leak fix in the last update was indeed a dissapointment.

Totally agree. This seems to be a big technical issue with DCS. In other games things do not become tiny in 4k. In DCS things become tiny and hence difficult to spot

It was on sale @ USD 99 on amazon USA a few days back. It was a great opportunity. The stock vanished in a glimpse. I have a x52. Works fine. But lemme tell you I bought it 11 years ago. It was pre Madcatz era. Very soild built, heavy and reliable. Latest models are very very light. They work fine however I am unsure about the life and reliability of the latest models.
