great screenshots, Eight Ball! I really enjoy seing these real-life (civilian) variants of the huey. And of course thanks to Upuaut to provide the attachments, that makes a big difference. Now we need just some of them working - imagine a water release from the tank or bambi bucket, an animated Flexcam, a working winch.... (tried several scripting attempts, but so far no success). -

just copy the Helipads folder into your /Saved Games/DCS/Mods/tech folder and it should work. -
if you need some support for the textures I coud try to help out if you like. however it would need mapping unwrap or material assignment from the original model. did you model in 3D max? which version. I could also do the argument to hide the loadout.

do you think you can include a draw argument to make the loadout section toggle visible/invisible to allow a civil aircraft? youalready did with the ammo box...

Hi upuaut, what a great set of additions, thanks for updating! One question - I dare to fly the Bell 47G, installed it into saved-games, with the bin, it appears in ME, I can chose player, but I cannot fly it or get controls. It is always flown by the KI. Can you tell me how to fly it myself as player? Many Thanks! -
Agree - SAR functionality would be a real game changer (sling loading, winching, thermal imaging - in combination) - and can serve both civil and military state of the art operations. The chance to implement it from beginning is there. And PLEASE - include a check box to hide the loadouts / weapon carrier structures such as in the Huey, to allow non-weapon operations with the Bo. Other than that - can't wait for the release...

Exactly - I am not looking for any explosive or weapon. I am looking how to release an object from the huey and make it a "water bomb" to be dropped into fires. I am aware of the bambi bucket payload made by Upuat some time ago, which not seems to work with the current update of DCS anymore. I am looking also into a fixed water tank such as on the CalFire helicopters, that is almost ready. But the trick will be to release something from it, which can be then water. An exposable fuel tank would do. Is there any jettison function in the DCS Huey?

Maybe a silly question. Can we release a bomb from a Huey? I think of "bombing" water to explore fire fighting.

The ME trigger command "play argument" on static objects extists since years, but it is neither documented nor works with anything I and others have tried. PLEASE give a comment on this issue/bug after all these years.

well, some fictional Huey, of course. private mod, FLIR not functional, winch can be used as slingload attachment point (just an offset in one of the lua files), but so far no "winching".
