  1. (initially posted in wrong thread, so moved here) @prccowboy- it is incredible what you have made from your initial idea - really really great! And a lot of work already with the quality of assets and liveries, my respect and many thanks! It is great now to follow different paths with this helicopter class, and it inspires me to follow the MH-60T variant in more detail and ultimatively make it flyable (which is what I am most interested in). And seeing the new blackhawk screenshots, even another one is on the way. Exciting times!
  2. Hi all, thanks very much for the issue report + Eight Ball already presenting a solution... Great if that trick works for now, but I changed the model and texture file and uploaded the fixed package, so upcoming downloads are clean. (The model will have a new material for the "parts" assigned, and that material will refer to a new texture filename (as suggested MH-60_Parts.png, so no change in the liveries is necessary after downloading version 0.11 Download link on first page is updated.
  3. can you show an image? checked the package and all is fine here...
  4. Hahahaha......that is so cool! Best reaction I had so far for any upload here I am looking forward to see the "her" in action - screenshots always welcome! And comments, critcs, ideas....
  5. Finally, I released the HH-60 / MH-60 Seahawk I am working on for some time now - at this stage as AI only. See here:
  6. This little package contains (yet another) HH-60 Seahawk type helicopter mod together with some liveries and payload assets. For now, this is only AI and has only some basic animations, PBR textures and no damage model or weapons. No proper LOD so far, so it may hit your FPS. It made this for myself to gain/improve some skills in 3D modelling, texturing and lua scripting, and because I was desperately waiting to get a Seahawk and some marine SAR and naval helicopter OPs into DCS. It is everything but complete, but a start I like to share. Tested with DCS Open Beta 2.9.2.49940 UPDATES: January 13th 2024: - reverse main rotor direction - fixed - pilot not visible - fixed - broken wheels texture - fixed - vertical position on ground - fixed update_13012024.zip please replace previous version shape file in the Mod's /Shapes folder with above shape (unzip). PSD Livery Template: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1pceu42erbjh1d9/HH-60_Livery_Template.zip?dl=0 version: 0.3 - small texture corrections - fixed - crew and crew-livery textures - added - instrument dash texture added - right rear door animation - added - open the right rear door with livery description.lua custom_args entry - added version 0.2 - new static shape and textures for HH-60 with folded blades and tail, restrain rods - added - new textures: USCG rotors, small corrections on fuselage, wheel and gear - added - small model and mapping errors (front antennas, foot steps, left back doors) - fixed version 0.11 - wheel and gear texture conflict - fixed. - PBR Texture for Main Rotor Hub was missing - added. DOWNLOAD: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zkmw46spdux69vc/HH-60 Seahawk Mod v03.zip?dl=0 INSTALL: Unzip the package. 1. Copy the content of "Liveries" into your "Saved Games/DCS/Liveries" folder. 2. Copy the content of "tech" into your "Saved Games/DCS/Mods/tech" folder USAGE: The Mission Editor Loadout menu offers you to choose from a) a NAVY setup with 3 liveries (2x different numbering and a bare skin with a numbering template map you can use for your own numbering, needs some Gimp or Photoshop work though). For the Navy version, you can chose a MH-60R Loadout on Pylon 2. - or - b) a US Coast Guard "Jayhawk" livery and appropriate MH-60T Loadout on Pylon 1. CREDITS: This mod was inspired through the work from Upuaut, Nibbylot and Damientrix. I used some snippets of lua-scripts from each of these authors and modified them for this project. The 3D model of the helicopter was commercially purchased by myself and is licensed for royalty free usage and distribution. I made a lot of changes to the original model though. The Assets were modelled by me. Have naval and SAR fun! cheers, rato65
  7. WOW. Really amazing - doing this as some "Beginner's" work as you said somewhere above - my very respect! Congratulations - and keep on!
  8. Cool! I am doing a new Seahawk MH60-R, still WIP, but getting close to release. Well, will be just flying eyecandy...
  9. ok, now I understand - possibly a good idea. will give it a try when I have some time.
  10. Yes, but it is more than just creating a shape. It is quite a lot of work to do all the animations and assignements, and I am everything but a 3D expert. However, I startet a project to make a MH-60 Jayhawk, which is already flyable. But the main work is the cockpit and interior, plus the animations. I will post a status every now and then. great to hear! keep on going!
  11. @SpinoI just had a similar issue with my own mod, also based on the AH6. Can you send the content of your installed UH-1M mod's entry.lua here for a qucik check?
  12. Thanks all - and Upuaut, who provided the path with his WTS / loadouts mod!
  13. Hi, I have updated my Huey USCG package for use with 2.7. Check description and links here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3314170/ Note that the download button on that page only gives you the liveries released before. To download the 2.7 attachments mod, follow the Dropbox link. Have fun!
  14. CFT mod relies on an existing F16C.lua file (in CoreMods). So this can be changed, which is the case in the CFT mod. In case of the UH60a, it's file is simply not existing any more. Same for the other AI helicopters.
  15. Hi Zukov, can you send me a link to that mod? I do not know it.
  16. Well, I checked several things and found the most probable reason why the payloads do not show up in 2.7: In 2.5, the AI helicopters and aircrafts were each defined with seperate lua files, under scripts/database. Since 2.7, these are all gone, and I do not know where to find those files defining each AI modules properties. I checked many files and almost all folders. Knowing the place where this definition is now stored is cruicial, because to add non-existing pylons and assign these to existing connectors, as I did for the UH-60a, this can only be defined in that very file or its pendant wherever that is in 2.7. For complete new aircraft mods, this is different because then also the definition file is within the mod. At least that is how I understand it , but I maybe wrong. So, if someone knows where to find the place this information (an AI module pylon definition, not the "UnitPayloads" files) is stored under 2.7 I can check to reactivate the mod. Otherwise.... sorry...
  17. Hi guys, thanks for your interest in this mod. Unfortunately (and of course Fortunately as well), quite some things changed twoards 2.7, I will have a look into this when I have some time. There are ideas in the forum but sofar I did not have the time to check these out and modify the 2.5 UH-60A mod accordingly. It is different to change the stock AI models from a new flyable model, which I posted some screenshots of WIP of the MH-60 elsewhere. As said, I will try when my time allows.
  18. Thanks - yes it is a WIP project for some time now, with a new seahawk model and new skin. Not ready yet, unfortunately.
  19. Incredible detail and realism. It is great to see and make peaple understand why modules of this quality cost money. What an amount of work! A pleasure to watch the progress. Thanks for cross-posting. And thanks to Fragger for providing these wherever.
