  1. It's from her Only Phans...
  2. I thought I'd watched all of the F-4 "home movies" on YouTube already. Neat.
  3. I...really doubt anyone will be able to offer you very much in the way of sage advice on a module that isn't even in Early Access yet.
  4. She's very audacious.
  5. Here you go. :)
  6. I think I'm in love with this one.
  7. Very entertaining subject matter, but I found "Dogfights" to be pretty light on detailed information. Not really surprising, considering their target audience, but it would be really cool to see all of the interview footage interspersed with animations geared toward people with a bit more interest in the minutia of aerial warfare.
  8. It'll be interesting to see if Magnitude models that with their F-8J.
  9. If it was operationally possible in real life, then it's very likely going to be operationally possible with Heatblur's Phantom.
  10. Hahahahaha...I haven't seen this video in years. Still makes me giggle though.
  11. This is what makes the Cold War jets way more fun to me. Sure, I get that you want things like JHMCS in the real world. But in the context of a video game? That's boring.
  12. Q: Will there be a Navy F-4? A: Yes! Our Phantom journey only begins with the -E. However, owing to the complexity of the work and investment of time and effort, it will not be included in the DCS: F-4E product. We’re instead choosing to focus on providing the most content rich F-4E we possibly can, and then set our sights on further telling the legendary story of the F-4.
  13. I'm not sure if the OP meant, "music you listen to whilst playing DCS", or just, "music you listen to". Since I don't listen to any music while playing DCS (I need every ounce of concentration), I'm going for the latter. No, I'm not trolling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zITOzOnQEuE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rpp1-8q2EM
  14. This isn't the most flattering picture of my "office", but it's the only one I (currently) have.
  15. You're welcome. I just finished the book myself a few days ago. He was a hell of a man. And kudos to you for picking up on the reference. Blade Runner is a timeless classic.
  16. I agree. His plane had also suffered battle damage, if I'm remembering correctly. An incredible story all the way around. His Silver Star was well earned.
  17. And to think the USAF initially wanted to court martial him for it! Probably would have too, if not for the intervention of some of his peers.

  19. Yes, it's a good idea. That whole "Know Your Enemy" thing.
  20. It does indeed say "Col. Olds" on the helmet, though I very much doubt the pilot model will look quite that good.
  21. "Nickel On the Grass" is a good read.
  22. As I understand it, the "two weeks" meme got started after ED promised the community something a long time ago (I don't recall exactly what) in, you guessed it, two weeks. By their own admission, they opened an enormous can of worms and paid for their mistake. Hence, the sardonic response anytime someone asks for an ETA.
  23. Jester isn't that distracting. I barely pay attention to him at all unless he's giving me bandit and/or speed call outs.
  24. Since it's Heatblur, I have very little doubts about the accuracy of whatever nuance they'll throw at their F-4 module(s). If the real world WEZ restricted pilots to a narrow cone aft of the target, then I'm sure the DCS facsimile will do the same.
