  3. A group of us were having intermittent DL issues on a server last night. Can clouds effect DL signal quality? It was cloudy.
  4. All the above. I have 9 controllers, and all DCS modules. 9x#of DCS modules = file count. It would be more convenient to have # of controller files equal # of DCS modules.
  5. I too have many peripherals. It would be nice to save everything for one air frame to one file.
  6. I just realized my previous post was kind of nonsensical. Last night my buddy fires amraam at mirage from 10nm at co altitude of 15000 ft and the missile missed big time. My expectation is that it would have hit the mirage.

  11. IMO hoggs are best for planned CAS(long loiter time), but vipers and hornets are better for emergency CAS situations (faster arrival times).

  13. ATC doesn't transition CASE types Hi All, I did a bit of searching and didn't see this reported somehow. With MP missions if the mission starts in CASE III conditions (early AM), and the squadrons return in CASE I conditions, marshal directs CASE III. Has anyone else had this problem? I looked for a known issues list but didn't see one.

  15. If the DC is as good or better than the bar set 20 years ago, I would pay a high price as well. DC is the DCS feature i’ve been waiting for.

  17. I was happy (and surprised) to hear this too. The longbow i has been a export for a while so I hope that’s the variant announced.
  18. While it’s nice to listen to these interviews, I can say with confidence they (grim reapers) do not speak for the majority of DCS multiplayer community. I’ve flown with multiple squadrons over the years and statements like “nobody wants to be a RIO” is 100% false. I hope ED is not taking all of their statements as facts.
  19. Depends on what you consider as ideal dynamic campaign. I could provide example of which sim sets the bar, but I think that is against forum policies.
  20. IMO dynamic campaign can’t happen until the computing resources of flying munitions and AI assets are significantly reduced (even RNG modeled).

  22. For me, i’ve found success in using TOO mode with GPS guided munitions by designating and releasing one target and bomb at a time. 1.) Setup ordinance (fuse, TOO mode per station). 2.) Slew TGP to target. 3.) Press TDC depress. 4.) Release weapon. 5.) Go back to step 2 and repeat.
  23. I think improved cloud modeling will help height perception in DCS.
  24. I’ve purchased modules that I wasn’t super interested in. After learning the module it becomes more interesting. If you don’t have the F-16, I would start there.
