  1. Not 100% sure what AC this is, but this plane seems to rise quite a bit after a miss.
  2. I was thinking the same. If you’re on speed, flight level, what happens if you push the throttle and wait three seconds?
  3. This is dated, so who knows if this is still the limits or not.
  4. I’ve had good performance with 12 players, but as the client count rises the performance degrades pretty fast. What is the max clients for dedicated server before performance degrades using a relatively light mission load?
  5. Hi @uboats. Excellent module! Do you have any idea for when we might see official one?
  6. I clicked vulcan but I didn’t see multithreading below on my phone browser. I advocate for performance improvements. Seeing how much performance is degraded by having a ground battle in progress (artillery firing, moving vehicles, etc) I can’t imagine a decent dynamic campaign would work with the current state of the simulation engine. Egg before chicken.
  7. Yeah hit weapon release to start laser fire. The second press will release the missile.
  8. BTW you don’t need to touch TRIG when employing LMAV unless you want to lase manually.
  9. IIRC there will be data cartridge like options to customize setup of avionics etc.
  10. IMO the Ka-50 is the best DCS helo. Lethal, agile, and more modern.
  11. In my experience I adjust trim to get on speed with gears down, flaps full, and hook. If my weight doesn’t change, I never need to adjust trim anymore. Adjust power to keep velocity vector where I need it and roll to turn. A good practice drill is getting on speed, hold 1000 ft. AGL, and do 180 degree turns with 30 degrees angle of bank and then make wings level again. See if you can maintain 1000 ft. at all times.
  12. Thanks for opening my eyes @Rudel_chw and @Sedlo! Two digit numbering format is what fixed it!
  13. Shouldn't this work?
  14. Hi All, I have a multiplayer mission where I am choosing to have multiple mission specific kneeboards for pilots to use. There is a overview page, theater reference page, and then specific pages that correspond to the various waypoints. The issue is that I can't seem to control or influence what order or sequence the kneeboard pages appear for the clients. I've tried alph-numeric file names ( 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg, kb-1.jpg, kb-2.jpg, etc.) and see no changes. How are the files ordered?
  15. For me, hornet has been my favorite airframe for a long time. I’ve spent more than 1000 hours in Falcon series, so i’m a bit tired to being in that cockpit so much. The things I hate about DCS hornet is no sensor fuzed weapons and green DDI.
  16. I am also back to having radar acquisition problems with the hornet radar. At first I thought it was the clouds, so I jumped in the viper and had zero issues. Hopefully the next patch will fix this problem.
  17. So now that weapons attributes are lua locked, thereby preventing community squadrons to correct DCS weapon issues, I guess we have no other choice than pleading our cases as lowly customers. Here is one harpoon impact on a rather large ship. I really hope this can be resolved because ASuW in DCS by default does not seem realistic or fun.
  18. We deactivate the static objects with ordinance.
  19. Is a frogs anus water tight?
  20. Okay, I think I understand now. I was under the impression that nerf meant reduction of zoom power but what your saying is image quality. I get it now, and yes I agree. Good conversation!
  21. Okay, so your saying the image quality should be reduced not the magnification?
  22. @Harlikwin Looks like the II and AT have same CCD resolution? How does that reference support that the lightening pod zoom level should be nerfed?
  23. I agree that realism should be the standard. Unfortunately I am not qualified to say what is real and what is not. I’m just a avid DCS enthusiast. If you have first hand knowledge about what is realistic in this regard, okay. If not, it would be great to have some quantitative data to support the argument. Let’s see less conjecture and more data!
  24. So the answer is to nerf the LPOD digital zoom? I don’t like that option.
  25. I see the correct as is I was hoping the new ATFLIR would have been at least as useful as the lightening pod.
