  1. The NAV mode is used to intercept and follow a VOR radial (navigate towards or from a VOR station). This can be also called VOR mode. It can also be used to make a LOC (localizer) approach, when the GS (glide slope) signal has failed or is simply missing. BTW, you can practice this with our module, failing the GS signal in the ME failures section. The VOR APR mode is used to perform a VOR approach. A VOR approach is a type of non-precision approach that can be used in IFR conditions at certain airports when, for example, there is no ILS available. The mode operates in an identical way to the VOR mode (NAV mode) but with optimized gain, which provides more precision for the VOR approach. The BC (Back Course) mode is used when making a BC approach. A BC approach is a type of non-precision approach that uses the back beam of the ILS localizer signal. For example, when there is no ILS for one of the runway directions you can use this type of approach, since all ILS localizer antenna array radiate not only the frontal beam, but a back beam also, of course with lower intensity and lower precision probably. Obviously, to make such a type of approach the corresponding IAL chart has to be published by the country’s civil aviation authority. APR mode is used to make an ILS approach, that is, full ILS with both LOC and GS signals operative. If the GS signal is inexistent or inoperative, you can make a LOC approach and use then the NAV mode of the FD, as described in first paragraph. See the attached pdf for further explanation. 2. Happy to see you happy :P

  4. It's WIP.
  5. This is explained in several other posts in this C-101 section. Speed brake switch depressed = trim working.
  6. Will add it to our to-do list.
  7. You can start up and fly from rear cockpit. Electrical system works, as well as fuel system in general ,except some details like ext. wing pumps which do not work yet. Starter, ignition, work... all needed basically to start up. Flight controls, speed brake, trim, flaps work, so you can control the a/c from rear cockpit. Main flight instruments as well as engine instruments work. For further details, see our changelogs, but nothing too useful for you, except maybe engine anti-ice if you fly in icing conditions. Some pushbuttons like engine computer.

    Fire

If you exceed an ITT of 830 °C for 5 minutes when flying the C-101EB, you'll get engine stall, and engine fire if you persist in engine mishandling.

  10. There is no solution if initial fuel is already at 82%. Mission should start with very low fuel. We are working to solve this.
  11. I provided you instructions above on how to proceed. See above post and previous page. If you do it so, you can rearm and refuel. We keep working to solve this bug.
  12. Only in those cases. If you request 25% and you get 43%, it will stop. But if you request 80%, for sure it won't, since it will try to load more than 97% but in that case, since it never reaches the target of 100%, it won't stop.
  13. Regarding refuelling, please take the following precautions. Fuel loaded is higher than fuel requested. For example, if you request for 25% of fuel, you will get around 43%. We are investigating what can be the reason for this behaviour. Since you can't load more than 97%, the loading event will never end, unless you start moving so that mechanic and fuel track get disconnected. Therefore, take into account that you should request first weapons load and then fuel load, once weapons are loaded, otherwise the weapons loading event will never start since fuel loading keeps in progress for ever. We hope to be able to solve all this soon.
  14. VOR stations don't provide distance,, only radials.
  15. Too busy with other stuff plus have no idea why this doesn't work. Seems rather an ED's issue.
  16. I'm glad to announce that liveries will be available to any DCS user in next update. I was always in favour of following DCS standards.
  17. That said, we'll discuss if we should change that feature to make the skins available to any one.
  18. It's not a bug, it's a feature. People who own the module have mire skins available. You need to select those countries (Chile, Honduras, Jordan,...) in ME in order to see those skins as an option.
  19. Thank you guys for your kind words!
  20. Glad you solved it. Enjoy the C-101! :)
  21. This is too obvious but, did you try another USB port? Or old type of USB?
  22. Maybe you need to run it as administrator?
  23. First open the game, and fly a mission. Then, open the simFFB tool. It doesn't work if you have it already opened and then go into the game and fly a mission. In that case, you need to close it and open it again. I don't think that number matters. When you open simFFB at any time, is the FFB force activated? It should.
  24. I have also Win 10 and FFB2 and it works. Once inside the mission, open simFFB.
