  1. Ugra media has got a choice. Make an expansion of the current map (and bill us) or make a new map of another area (and take more space on our drives anyway)
  2. I see the need for Southern Israel and northeastern Egypt, up some 20 km off west of Cairo, where an important part of the wars of 1948, 56, 67 and 73 took place too. Edit: Added image
  3. the campaign is for 2.7. It has been created using 2.5.6 but I added the new clouds since 2.7 has been released. i guess a Coop-able version could be made. I’ll think about it and let you know.
  4. Hi, Just released a 10 mission campaign titled: AJS 37 Viggen: Odinnadsats campaign. 7 missions out of 10 will make you start from a road base. This campaign is challenging. It was designed to make full use of the aircraft's STOL capabilities and weapon system. You can check it here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3316614/ ADDED July 3rd, 2021 Started making tutorial videos for the campaign. The first two are out on this day:
  5. I concur! Actually, I'd like all of them from the first -A short to the -J.
  6. I may add SPA mode should also be removed from the mode selector and TERNAV from the CK's capabilities. @IronMike @Cobra847 Can we ask you to add this "downgrading" of the AJS 37 into an AJ 37 to your roadmap, pls?
  7. If they make an A6 AI followed by a flyable A6, my bet is one of those future unnamed flyable modules will be a Draken. I just hope not the -35J. The whole point is to have a Draken in its heyday (1960s-70s) so a -35D or -35F would be appropriate.
  8. The A-6E is not the next module but the module after the next module or the next two modules.
  9. I’d love a Buccaneer but I think it’s v unlikely. Besides the F-4 to make a comprehensive air group for the Forrestal, hey could make an A-4 but since we already have a community module, not sure they’ll prioritize this model? How good is the existing A-4? do you think HB could make an A-4 ?
  10. My money is on a naval F-4. It makes sense for the following reasons: HB will release Forrestal class carriers, an AI A-6 followed by a fully flyable module and an AI KA-6; FlyingIron will release a flyable A-7; Leatherneck a flyable F-8; we already have the F-14 and AI E-2 & S-3 The F-4 is the missing piece to simulate a comprehensive Forrestal air group in the 60s and 70s. i am not completely comfortable with them calling it a next gen fighter jet though, this would indicate their next flyable module would render an aircraft more recent than the F-14B. in this case, the possibilities are pretty limited since we need to exclude last gen aircraft for lack to accessible data: Tornado GR.1 (1990s version) Some late version of the F-111 JA-37 F-14D or an early version of the Rafale or Gripen (very unlikely) Late version of the F-4 like Kurnass 2000 or japanese EJ (very unlikely)
  11. yes thank you very much
  12. You may have to direct the AI to release their ASM weapons in the waypoint special options, under bombing
  13. My guess is they will fix it with the release version of the module, like the SPA issues
  14. Those are the digits ordered by rank, from 1 to 6, you have to input using the data panel in mode TAKT IN. E.g. TAKT, IN, 831100 then LS/SKU, OUT, back to AKT/POS The three columns small tables with grey heading are a reproduction of the content of the manual. The rest has been added to try to make sense of these.
  15. I was thinking about reporting the remaining bugs too! Thanks Flappie.!
  16. Hi, I've been trying to make sense of the tables in the RC2 manual, at pages 336-7. 17. My mistake here: GroundCrew can rearm the Viggen even when it spawns from the ground using an invisible FARP. It did not work the day I wrote this message because I had forgotten it specifically requires an M818 and a M978 HEMTT and not any transport or fuel truck.
  18. I’d love a J 35 too and every variant of it (except maybe the Sk). with the Mirage III and F-8 coming, the MiG 21 already here, that would make for the beginning of a solid 2nd gen fighter selection for DCS
  19. The issue with starting on the ground is you can't have an AI wingman. I don't think it will follow the road and find out how to take off?
  20. There is an issue: the ground crew does not reamn and refuel, in spite of it being availeble in the kneeboard and R&R completion percentage showing and moving up after pressing Lctrl + Lalt + Enter.
  21. I found out how HB could place a Viggen on the ground on the Short field training mission. Create a miz file with an invisible Farp + support vehicles. Put your plane close to the invisible farp. Add the roadbase vehicles too, to be able to R&R. Open the miz file with a compression program. Inside the miz, open the "Mission" file with a text editor (e.g. notepad++) Look for the code that refers to your plane (my plane was the only one set to ground attack so it was easy) - you may also look for it using its X & Y coordinates Then change the following two items (in bold and red): It should work.
  22. There's a book called System 37 that has a chapter on Viggen tactics (see p. 92 for dive bombing). If anything, the swedes made shallow dives (-7 ° pitch approx.). Check here for an english translation: According to M. Hilmerby, an ex Swedish air force Viggen pilot, the tactics used IRL do not work the same way in DCS:
