  1. Virgo47 is correct. Soganlug ATC provides the wrong runway number for landing. Take off from 14 and ATC informs you that you will be landing on 32. And vice-versa. TRKs provided. Soganlug Runway 32-14.trk Soganlug Runway 14-32.trk
  2. I took control of your off boresight TRK and, after the initial launch authorization, made a quick turn into the target. Lost launch authorization until roughly the same range as the boresight TRK. Good catch.
  3. There was a time, when they would land with you. It wasn’t pretty but it worked. But it’s been several years since I’ve been able to make it happen.
  4. However, the deviation index on the HDD will tell you whether you are left or right of the last selected WP. And you can use it to head straight toward the WP, if you desire. This is true for BVR mode and, I assume, for WVR modes as well. But truth be told, if I’m in close combat, my eyes are outside the cockpit. The HDD is the last thing I’m looking at.
  5. Well…there was a second and a half in the video dedicated to a rolling MiG-29…
  6. It's editable but you won't see the change unless you completely close out of the weather tab prior to loading the edited file. Grant977, no you cannot drag the system within the editor. You need to edit the LUA file you save.
  7. Here's his TRK with the mod reference removed. B1B_JDAM-MAP-OBJ Issue.trk
  8. Was that really a thing? I don’t recall ever being able to do anything except right click on the map without the dynamic weather page disappearing. Any repositioning I ever made was via editing the lua file. How did it work? Since oftentimes the system center is off the visible map, could you just drag any weather flag?
  9. Never mind. I followed their procedure and obtained results similar to those you reported in your first post. Only the lead’s bombs hit the right area. All others land early. Did you set the amount for them to release to “All”?
  10. Well…in addition to Russia, only Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Syria, Afghanistan, and North Korea consider Crimea to be a part of Russia. So that statement might require a bit of qualification.
  11. In the real world, it would be a bit problematic...
  12. No. It was there at one time but removed years ago--back in 2014 or so, I think.
  13. It most probably should, since there are situations where you have to input a specific pressure and that’s impossible to do without it. The few F-15C altimeter photos I’ve seen have the pressure window. Don’t know why DCS omits it unless it didn’t exist on the early models the DCS cockpit referenced.
  14. Have you run across this?
  15. Best way to test whether or not DCS will run without them is to rename them or, better yet, just change the file suffix and start DCS. If it starts and runs fine, then you can delete them. I think the files you’re referring to are from either repairs or, perhaps, updates that save old files in case you wish to use them again.
  16. Probably neither. The avionics might be closer to the “T” but aircraft handling would be closer to the “A”.
  17. Well…it looks like you might already have what you need. But in case you don’t (or someone else is interested in it for other reasons), I’ve attached the mission I spoke of. I used the MiG-29 which can have an incredibly short takeoff and landing roll. So some of the roads involved may not be long enough to suit the F-15. In all cases, the MiGs start on grass either adjacent to a road or out in a field. I think there are over 50 slots. At the time, those with their role listed as “Intercept” took very little throttle to start rolling. Those with a listed role of “CAP” took up to 75% throttle to begin rolling. Or maybe it was vice-versa. Use the mission (or not) in good health. MiG-29 Roadside Test 2.miz
  18. That’s a pretty impressive ask! Who in hell would take on something like that, anyway? Oh. Wait a minute…ummm…that might have been me, in a way. At one point in the past, I was around looking for off-road landing sites (as well as on road with off-road parking) and marked the locations into a mission. I’ll look for it tonight and post it here, if I find it. It was not exhaustive and, IIRC, it was for the Su-27 or, maybe, the MiG-29. I don’t recall exactly. The off road stuff will probably not work for the F-15. You might be restricted to roads only. The trick in regards to roads is finding those long enough, straight enough, and level enough to work. Assuming the scenery removal trigger works in the sim’s current version (whether or not it does seems to be an on-again off-again affair) light poles, trees etc can be removed from any road. So, when it’s working, the ancillary stuff isn’t a problem.
  19. My personal wish list is pretty damn short: 1. Sufficient time to fly.
  20. Did you place a monetary value in the space for it? “0” works, if you’ve already made a donation. You can’t move forward until you do.
  21. Hmmm…looks more like an aileron roll…which makes it even worse…
  22. Ahhh… RTCTRL+ F2. Had to look it up. I guess the function of that combo is to unlock the F2 view. But as far as your carrier segments are concerned, I’ve gotten good results with F9 followed by various uses of LFTCTRL+F11 to focus on individual aircraft.
  23. Do you mean NumPad “.” to lock and NumPad “Num Lock” to unlock? Or am I misunderstanding the camera view?
  24. The track replay reproduces the changing view whether using head tracking devices, the mouse, or anything else UNLESS you change the view that was originally recorded. Once you do, all views—whether inside or outside the cockpit—are now under your direct control. The cockpit view will only look center forward unless you change it.
  25. Yes, you can. I do it frequently to change the time of day, cloud cover, add eye candy, or extra units. While in the ME, use the Open File button. Change the file type to TRK. Locate and load the track file into the ME. Make your changes. Save the file. When saving, make sure that you have the type set to TRK. Otherwise it’ll be saved as a mission file.
