Sounds reasonable. Things always work on local builds, the moment you put it in front of a customer it breaks. This is similar to the opposite rule involving tech support, where the issue is always present until the tech support rep is at your computer, in which case, it will always work perfectly until the rep is out of earshot.

I think that you'll be waiting for the Carrier with working elevators for this. The collision detection would be a big plus, but expecting 16+ spawnable spaces isn't likely. Maybe 8 is possible, but they have to keep the runway and catapults as clear as possible.

Regarding inlet ice / heating, when is the 'correct' time to turn it on? I feel like turning it on after the master caution alerts me is waiting too long,so figured I'd ask.

I think he is selecting a name at the end of the week. (Correct me if wrong, also do you plan to share who you selected?)

That binding works for me. Curious, did you try anything with the knee board or flashlight or night vision on/off? Agreed zoom is most useful, but those were others I thought might work well.

I started flying the hornet in that, it's a bit of a bear, and I since upgraded my stick to a used CH Fighterstick for more Hats, but here's what I did. On the throttle, bind the two index finger buttons to BOTH be modifier keys. This way you can get the four hat switches needed to fly. Hat = Trim top modifier + Hat = AA Weapon Select Bottom modifier + Hat = TDC control (With Bottom Modifier+R3 being TDC Depress) Both modifiers + Hat = Sensor Select Switch I used the rudder axis on the throttle to be radar altitude adjust. Then the three thumb buttons on the throttle got bound to a variety of things, but tried to follow the mindset that the modifiers should follow function. For instance, top modifer was for flight stuff, bottom modifier was for ground related stuff. It...mostly worked, just ment playing some mental gymnastics every time I flew. CH Fighterstick was a life saver for that. Plan to get a TWCS throttle to replace the HOTAS-X Throttle. (I just have to stick off to the side while flying now)

Sorry to hear about your husband, lost my grandpa to cancer...hate it. I also love the idea of a museum, such an awesome idea and a way to honor his memory and passion in a way that many others can enjoy. :) The items listed in your forum signature should be more than enough for the Museum to just set it up and go. (Quite an enviable list for any sim pilot).

I wish I was on that list...haha But thank you people who are on that list, to work out any kinks before I get my unit! :D
