  1. For example...... I-16, K4, D9 (no one Dora/Kurfurst pilots had ever seen Normandy from Germany skies even climbing to 45,000 feet high in a CAVOK day) ... even if you want to be exquisite you can put in that bag the D version of the P-51 (introduced in combat months later D-Day). Interesting and disturbing at the same time... The Marianas WW2 map is going to be the new "Caucasus for everything" as it has been for last 10 years. But having or not a map that properly matches with a model is not a problem at all. The main issue is having a model that doesn't match with its natural opponents, cause this is a Combat Sim... otherwise I dare you twice to tell me what would differenciate hopping on an F6F Dash 3, Dash 5 or Dash X here and in the competence. Tip: the strong accent is in "Combat".
  2. Very plausible. Yesterday was the first time I'd choosen a default Landing quick mission where the spawning is on air.
  3. I owned this module for a year and this is first time I noticed this bug. 24 hours before I got no problem before this last update.
  4. Not the best OB update. It only add more bugs than it seems to fix...anyways... as the tittle points: AOA indexer doesn't work inside cockpit neither on nose wheel ( see pic 1& 2). I also attach a game track.... but not sure if it is not corrupted... AOA_NO_INDEXER.trk
  5. Anything but not out of control. I can only see a perfect patern of a "V". He was just pointing out to google satelites where to boresight "Las Vegas".
  6. Once you've created the naval group you can also click on "Create & Mod Template" Icon (below "create ground unit" icon) in mission editor, name it as you want and save it as a template. You can use it in future missions also in other maps.
  7. Go to minute 2:03 and listen the words of an expert: just 10 seconds of pure phylosophy. Also take your time in setting properly the keybinds and axis curves for every module and you are going to earn quality of life for sure.
  8. This glitch has ruined my "Top Gun sunset" picture... null
  9. Just.... one mission vision
  10. Well..... you should analize what they've shown in the vid about the F6F... but even more important is What they've haven't shown about it... Tip: ingame images ZERO. So Hiob is 500% right: in 15 days months.... FOR SURE!!!
  11. That's the only thing I noticed it had changed, but if you apply the physics logic that rules air combats is easier to build Energy in vertical maneuvers ( boom & zoom) than performing horizontal maneuvers (turn & burn) due the exchanging between altittude and speed. Said that.... now the AI is Nuts once you reach the deck and entered in the eternal right turn and watch how could it not only bleeds you energy also how it can build energy while it's turning hard or even harder than you... it's simply: AI FM is not only more lax inducing G-loc to its pilot it can also reinvent the ingame physics while it penalizes you with a realistic FM: Basically you have to deal with the ingame Physics also with the magics and gathering (Deux ex machina).... right like a random chapter of "Rings of Power"..... Or maybe the AI FM is based in a 5th. Gen flight envelope.... who knows.... You're too generous giving this AI all that room. Neither Newton neither Eisntein neither Hawking were 300 IQ.... and here we are in 2022 using their maths. Banzay_AI_ACE_MIG29S.trk
  12. All Gun piper simbology is broken in ACM Mode once opponent has been acquired also the messages in HUD like IN LAR and SHOOT. ACM_GUN_Piper_NoGo.trkACM_GUN_Piper_NoGo2.trk
  13. I finally could talk to Santa and his community manager answered me: ...... in two weeks..... for sure! Happy X-mas!!!
  14. I know it is not a fix but...Have you tried using the hand flashlight? default keybind is R_ALT+L. It will make you life easier
  15. Ingame vid capture: OBS studio recording settings in 60 FPS Video edition software: DaVinci Resolve free version... final render in 4K DCS Ingame Video Settings: extracted from Spudknocker's YT vid ( linked by ART-J ) Reshade: used but all effects selected are the classic ones and in deffault position PC specs: CPU: i5-6500 3.20Ghz, 32 Gb's RAM, GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6Gb's (Old Hen can still make Good Soup) The key is in the render quality. As higher quality you render as higher quality you will have in YT Disclaimer: I'm only using this vid to show the tech specs. The quality of the story it's only up to ppl own appreciation.
  16. You should open the program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World (OpenBeta)\bin\... One Tip you'll never forget: You HAVE to execute DCS as an Admin (*)in case you want to modify and/or save changes in Reshade settings, otherwise reshade is going to save always in its default settings. This is very useful in case your ingame keybinds are in conflict with reshade default keybinds. (*)How to execute DCS as an Admin: RIGHT MOUSE CLICK over DCS icon in your WINDOWS desktop. Left MOUSE click over EXECUTE AS ADMIN
  17. Awesome work!!! I don't mind if they don't match. I've realized that making skins for this mod is not an easy work, but watching the base you're creating I'm very excited to accept the challenge of creating their "kimono". Mate You've also changed the tail wheel position from the UH to the MH position.... what a hard work you're doing!!! Keep pushing it!!
  18. As simple as pressing F2 key, move the camera to the front side of the A/C and use CTRL+/ or CTRL+ * in the numpad for zooming in or out. Pilot's hand in the upper handler (like in IRL) is not animated.
  19. I'm just warming up engines waiting for that surelly astounding external MH-60 variation Tanuki.
  20. DANKE VIELMALS who developed this BEAST. You really have captured and nailed the esence/soul/spirit of this aircraft. A very satisfying time trying to emulate Chuck's ride in 1963 from my armchair.
  21. I had replaced them 5 years ago for 2 strong rubber bands and a couple of plastic ties. Also I did the same trick like in the T-16000 throttle: I covered the rails and the wheels on both "pedals charriots" with plastic masking tape. I smeared them with special silicon grease for electronic components and I've been enjoying them all this past time and I will enjoy them for a long time. Rubber bands have enough hardeness to return pedals charriots to the neutral position but enough smoothness to not work against your legs, so I've gained 200% in accuracy and comfort (now I can push and mantain the legs in a sustained position) while before I fought against springs, and in this product it means a huge difference and only for a couple of working hours and less than 5 dollars in materials. For knowing if you have done a good work on them you should test them flying any Helicopter module (they need a lot of accuracy in the yaw axis). Then you should know if it was worth all the effort.
