Hi I have been doing some research into a new system for myself. I will be using the old case PSU and GPU along with my WC loop. How will this affect the rift or vive. Are they classed as multi monitor setup?

Just my 2 pence worth. When your flying in correct trim with level flight and ball centred irrespective of speed don't use rudder inputs during the turn. The ball is a slip indicator and the bank angle is denoted by the pointer above the ball. If you use rudder inputs while turning you will either rise or descend.

Don't forget to edit your sig, I am betting your Track IR will end up like mine forlorn in a cupboard:D

I had to add a PCI card for SATA 6 and USB 3. It works great. Also the blurb is misleading. You need a USB 3 for the rift headset and a USB 3 for the Sensor. The other USB is for an Xbox controller which is unnecessary in DCS but useful for other gamesand is USB 2. I bought "Keep talking and no one explodes" http://www.keeptalkinggame.com/ which allows friends and family to enjoy it too, and its fun. Spotting is hard work but does not detract too much you just need to be closer. I have joined Burning Skies WWII server a few times recently and they have some modded labels that decrease in size as they get closer till they disappear altogether, I am sure it should be doable for SP Just get it !!! the actual feeling of being in the DCS world instead of playing it is well worth the investment:clap_2:

I have been reading your posts and I think a system upgrade is your best bet and mine I reckon. If you saved money by getting a 970 instead of a 1070 your getting a good card at half the cost of a 10 series and the saved money will almost cover the cost of a new MB bundle:)

The 229th servers run 24/7 and run huey specific missions. We don't crash every 13 hours. I don't know how you go about trouble shooting but check your logs and crash dump as a first step

Hello I got my Rift for Christmas and have been playing with settings. I have a similar rig to yours but your card is more powerful. Oh and I upgraded to W10 especially for the rift Here are some screens of my settings. Hope they help. I should say that I got to these settings over a couple of days, I presume occulus patched the software after installation because it is getting better all the time

Thanks Andre, need to wait till I get windows 10 upgrade to finish before trying that. 3 days I have been trying to upgrade to W10 and still no luck :(

I thought a rig like your describing would be the bees knees but now I have the rift the first thing to do is get W10 so I take advantage of ASW. Its a fine enough setup for DCS as long as you add plenty ram but if you have thoughts to upgrade to a rift or vive then future proof with W10 And my Rig was purpose built for DCS, it is now almost obsolete though. Godamn X58 chipset:doh: And the only place ED is going is upwards and onwards, they have been producing quality flight sims for years, why would they stop now?

I once had to reinstal firmware and Andre pointed me to Tip 3 on the tips and tricks page, this is now removed and I have need to try the firmware reload again. Can anyone help while Andre is on holiday?

Hi I got the Rift for Christmas and have hijacked my sons pc as my CPU was outdated. I can't run DCS with oculus running, it crashes and I hope someone can check my logs and point me to a solution. Can't wait to get started Thanks Cib:helpsmilie: Logs.rar

No collective curves or tampering at all. Use a modded X52 but even when using the warthog throttle I leave as is. Just be gentle:)
