The FPS is definately less although I find it seems a lot smoother regardless. Flying last night with 12 or so others in a large scale mission lots of infantry targets lots of explosions from the F5 CAS ships and it was rock steady. Before you all go down the reversion path try tweaking some settings, it may not be perfect but its still an advance towards unified exe's

I am wondering if this is the reason my Rift headset gets disconnected. It is/seems more of a prevalent problem in MP. Does a usb crash/disconnect produce a log somewhere? My USB 3 ports are via a PCI expansion card with 2x 6Gb sata connected to 2x SSD's

I have enjoyed rerunning the Mi-8 campaign that ships with the module again in the rift. Completely different experience. When time allows I also like to revisit the A-10C single missions and enjoy having everything I need at my fingertips. Except inputing co-ordinates into the CDU:doh:

Best thing to improve your flying of the Mi-8 is an extension. Obviously that is only my opinion and some people may disagree:) That was the thing that gave me so much more control over all the choppers. Before I got the extension using my warthog hotas I used the trim mode where you don't need to centre it. I was pretty good at it too;) There are some video's linked in my sig that covers hovering with the AP that may be of interest to you. All of the video's where made before the extension was bought

Try right Cntl + 3 do it twice and also twice for Right Cntl + 4. That works for me, first to open doors and 2nd to put them to free fire mode. It was working at least up to 1.5.5 for me
