  1. It is such a simple and effective mod that I just can‘t see why ed don‘t ad it to the core game, It is even made by an ed tester.
  2. I would like to have that option, not for the big public servers, but for our squadron's missions. It can be done by scripts but the slot-blocking part is hard to get to work and it would be great to have it included in the base game, it would already be a game changer to have real csar operations ingame, to give the chopper pilots a real task.
  3. Well, heatblur has made it, the rio sees switches being flipped by the pilot and can even switch them so in the external implementation from heatblur it works. They programmed their external synchronisation program and didn‘t use ed‘s implementation.
  4. What should work is, adding a model made by ED, of an a-4 and naming it exactly the same as the mod. This way, everybody without the mod can join a server with it and the ones who have it installed can fly it. This would not give any legal problems or connection between ED and the a-4 team but this beautiful mod could be used in dcs multiplayer. The same would be true for the mb-339.
  5. ED promised a free map for this year, so that is what we are talking about here.
  6. @jerec Before insulting other people, try to make a dcs mod with your own cockpit and systems, it is extremely hard and endlessly much time goes into it. If you din‘t have the time or skills to do so just appreciate what the people of the modding community produce or shut up.

  8. to me it does not matter how they will solve it, the only important thing is that everybody can join the server and if we need two carriers sailing alongside each other, than that is perfectly fine to me. Thank you ED for listening to the community
  9. Yes, the reason is that with a contract with ed they could get licensing problems from the manufacturer, it is expensive to have this contract with ed and it is even more time consuming than at the moment.

  11. You must move this crate I have a problem when using real crates. I have slingloaded them to a different location than the spawn location, but still there is a message that I must move this crate before unpacking it. It does so eventhough I have disabled having to move the crate before spawning. Attached is the script, I would really apreciate if somebody could help me out with this. If using the simulated slingload method, it works. CTLD.lua
  12. I don't think this is a limitation, but a feature because our server is on the pc of one of our members and he wouldn't like to give us access to his whole pc.

  14. I don't think it works like that. As far as I know it gives priority to root folder content and only additional files from safedgames are used.
  15. They will be disabled until you have Internet connection, then they will work again. This is true for the ones without star force key. The others don‘t even need internet to stay active as far as I know.
  16. amazing work guys Do you have contact to the modding team from the mb-339? On discord they talked about an external synchronization code for their mb-339, to properly use multicrew (without synchronization).
  17. here is the link again. In discord they talked about an external cockpit-synchronisation program that they are coding because they can't access ed's code.
  18. the guys of the mb-339 have found out how to enable multicrew, so it should be possible. ${1}
  19. does your carrier have more than one waypoint? then the mod can't function correctly
  20. I had dcs on its own partition, so all I did was: Create a new partition on the ssd Copy\ paste dcs over Delete old partition Rename the new one so that it has the same path as the old one. If other things are kn the same place as dcs, I‘m not sure but do not do it in offline mode, this will screw up your licenses

  23. The green thunder textures only work in 1.5, the soldier mod probably will only work in new versions so it wouldn't work anyway.
  24. Is there already a updated version of the script available? Or what happens at the moment with the script if a pilot ejects in the water?
