  1. The a-4 team answered this question a few months ago. I can't find the statement at the moment, but it was along the line that for sdk you need to have a business relation with ed. Also if it gets added as an official module, they need licensing from the manufacturer and for the a-4 they said that it was to expensive and complicated. I think for Deka it was possible because they made the j-11 just as a preparation for the jf-17 when they already had the contract with ed.

  4. I used the x56 for a long time and I did not really like to fly the warthog with it, because the buttons are just not in the right place. Now with the warthog it is really a joy to fly. That is however only my experience, it is certainly also flyable with the x56 hotas. And in the f-14, at the moment without a human rio in the back you can't operate the lantrin, so no guided air to ground with jester at the moment. The rest is more or less possible without a human rio, but it is way more fun with a friend in the back.

  6. Or you guys could be waiting until the module is out of early access and the documentation is updated to its final state before using it. I think in some cases ED pushes stuff out to early but that the documentation can't reflect all new features from the day they're released is understandable in my opinion. The implementations can change and it doesn't make sense to rewrite the manuals all the time over and over.

  8. You can only load one crate, it is not weight dependant.
  9. About half a year ago there was an update that broke the older 3d models. Many mods were broken by it and it can only be fixed by the author by reexporting the original .max file with a newer exporter.
  10. Well, you can refuel at a farp. The Problem is that at the moment you need to be in contact with the farp and that you need a 100% flat spot so the farp mat does not flote.
  11. Bevore I had VR I loved to fly night missions, but with the NVG filling the whole fov it is just impossible to fly realistic night missions. I will give the mentioned mods a try but would love to have it implemented.
  12. +1 Please give us the option to rearm with a trigger zone, or with placed ground vehicles. A bonus would be tat you can deactivate civil traffic in one specific area, or with a vehcle placed on the road.
  13. if you can run the su-25 reasonably well, probably also the hornet will run. It is just possible that you have quite some stutters and so on. You don't need to buy any terrain to start, the caucasus is fine. It is also the most used map in multiplayer, because everybody owns it. The most suited map for the hornet would be the persian gulf, but if you are tight on budget I would rather spend that money on something else and get the map in a later sale when it has 50% off, and not 25 like now.
  14. would really love to have the swiss version. They have INS and more modern radios, and the outside model would need one antenna more. They also have better brakes, but I think the rest is more or less the same. But I do realise that many people would rather have a different update, it would just be really cool to have the exact swiss verison for our squadron.

  16. They said that they don't want to because of licence costs and because they would need to become a third party which is extremely time and money consuming. What I would suggest is, that ED adds the 3d models of an AI mb-339 and a-4, because if the mod is named the same as the AI version, you can have them on servers and people who want to fly them need to download them, the others not. This works, we tested it with an old AWACS mod.

  18. <mod edit, removed response> Is it an efm aircraft, so that you can start from the grass? Looks like it in the video. We would love to use it as an aircraft to intercept and to have fun with as soon as you have permission to release it.

Two small additional things are, to add the option to spawn planes on the ground without modding the files (not a huge deal) and to include the coalition changing mod by uboats and grimes, which works flawlessly.

I would love to see these aircraft added as ai by ED, because if the mod is called exactly the same as the ai in the dcs database, it works exactly the same as with any module at the moment, so it can be used on the server, everybody can join and if you want to fly it, you need to download it (tested if this works with another mod and it works)
  21. I did not use it yet, because the last time I tested it it didn't function correctliy, but it would be really needed to simulate civilians or other countries not involved in the war.

  23. It is such a simple and effective mod that I just can‘t see why ed don‘t ad it to the core game, It is even made by an ed tester.
  24. I would like to have that option, not for the big public servers, but for our squadron's missions. It can be done by scripts but the slot-blocking part is hard to get to work and it would be great to have it included in the base game, it would already be a game changer to have real csar operations ingame, to give the chopper pilots a real task.
