  1. @Enigma89 no I do not know which farp this was, but if config is common across farps it will mean the AI need to be told not to scatter (dispersion) when attacked, this would stop them moving
  2. I do not use autostart, I start simshaker , and then start DCS, when DCS loads thats when the program crashes
  3. any idea why this happens at launch ? See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The system cannot find the file specified at System.Diagnostics.Process.StartWithShellExecuteEx(ProcessStartInfo startInfo) at System.Diagnostics.Process.Start() at SimShaker.UI.ProcessManager.StartSeatHandler(String arguments) at SimShaker.UI.MainForm.Form1_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnCreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4300.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v4.0.30319/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- SimShaker for Aviators Assembly Version: 2.3.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.3.0.0 CodeBase: file:///C:/Users/user/programs/SimShaker/SimShaker%20for%20Aviators.exe ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4270.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4300.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.3752.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- NLog Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.7.11.13229 CodeBase: file:///C:/Usersuser/programs/SimShaker/NLog.DLL ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4190.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_B CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Core Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4320.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Core/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Core.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.3752.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Data Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4270.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_32/System.Data/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Data.dll ---------------------------------------- System.ServiceModel Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4250.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.ServiceModel/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.ServiceModel.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Runtime.Serialization Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4250.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Runtime.Serialization/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Runtime.Serialization.dll ---------------------------------------- Accessibility Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.3752.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/Accessibility/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/Accessibility.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml.Linq Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.3752.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml.Linq/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.Linq.dll ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.   4. cosmosim no center + lightest springs wound pretty far out (loose)
  5. one of the guys I fly with has added a counter weight to his, only thing that would concern me about it is extra wear/force on the mechanism
  6. autoexec.cfg either on or off, there is no inbetween
  7. example autoexec.cfg file for a dedicated DCS server no_device_hotplug = true crash_report_mode = "silent" options.graphics.render3D = false options.graphics.maxfps = 30 pause_on_load = false net.use_upnp = false webrtc_port=10311 if not net then net = {} end net.download_speed = 12800*1024 net.upload_speed = 12800*1024 disable_write_track = true netfm_enable_coeff_switching = true -- log.set_output("dcs", "", log.ALL, log.FULL)
  8. country combined join forces blue, will allow you to use any unit from any class
  9. Owned one of these for 3 months now, you will be adjusting this every 2 weeks or so with daily use
  10. and another TIP better to use mono OGG files for audio etc as they are a lot smaller in size
  11. Edited the mission to add a 60 delay before beacon starts and as I said initially said this is the same problem that has been about for many many years with radio beacons The beacon works , ED do need to fix it so that IF you connect after a beacon started you can hear/tune to it, but restarting the beacon every so often works around this, thats what most of us server hosters have been doing for years now Beacons_need_refreshed_on_dedicated_servers.miz
  12. Yeah I will have a quick look, weird that your server cannot get radio beacons working at all , but they have been working ok on the Havoc Company servers for past 4 years (within the afore mentioned limitations)
  13. +1 I can also confirm this , snow (not all of it but some) was passing thru the cockpit when flying
  14. I do a mixture of COLD and HOT start on my server, as sometimes I just want to get up into the air a pew pew stuff
  15. Very clever work around, nice one
  16. here is a mission file to show this, load mission , play mission , observe AI being weird ai_infatry_bug_3445543.miz
  17. @Flappie was observing some AI Infantry attacking some blue infantry and noticed this weird behaviour AI are shooting bullets without pointing directly at enemy, you can see this from the tracers
  18. I use the mode dial on my throttle to control profiles in Joystick gremlin, I do it this way because I am lazy/efficient and like to do things the easiest way possible Benefits of Joystick Gremlin for using button press on device to keyboard press: example: you fly a bunch of different aircraft from different vendors DCS will auto assign a device button to a function eg flaps so for A-10C that maybe button #2 for M-2000C that might be button #4 for Mig-21 that might be button #5 So I have to remember a different button to do the exact same function depending on which aircraft I am flying ... or bind the same button in DCS to that function for each aircraft (PITA) The smart way, I use joystick gremlin to create a profile that handles this better eg I assign button #2 on my throttle to send keyboard press F to windows Now I know that button #2 does flaps toggle for pretty much every DCS aircraft I hope this explains why GJ makes life easier, I only bind axis for DCS in game JG does the rest
  19. - Ive noticed the T-50CM3 throttle also has " mode select " buttons. Can anyone confirm that these will hold the " switch " signal with DCS? That was the problem with the X56. You would change the mode select button, but after 20-30 seconds the throttle would stop transmitting the mode select and you would default back to whatever your base map was. Otherwise, I guess I would use this like I do now for my ECM dial in the hornet, haha. You can configure it to act as a held down button if you want, but that is a bad way to use it - Virpil of course say that you can either use the control panels independently, or attach an auxilery cord that then merges the panel's together to become one big controller block. Does it work as they say it does, WITH DCS? Nope, you can add one control panel on the AUX port of a base eg throttle or CM2 base, you cant put two control panels together
